Unfavorable Semicircle

So this youtube channel updates extremely frequently with a short video, usually containing some sound, sometimes with someone speaking a letter.

YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClZgZSNNQkhncRVj6lmNpWw

Reddit sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/UnfavorableSemicircle/

Any ideas?

I came across an article about this.
"Theories as to the origin of the videos range from the plausible to the absurd."

Hopefully this doesn't become another Webdriver Torso incident. I invested too much time and too many unsettling nightmares into that quagmire.

Man. It almost sounds like some kind of YouTube numbers station more than an automated test channel like Torso.

Although no human being could upload that many videos, right?

Maybe a rogue AI (seriously, not Skynet, just some MIT project uploading random weirdness).

But yeah, also Pronunciation Books vibes.

I mean, it's interesting, but there's too much volume for any reasonable exploration of whatever this is. I think I'll let Reddit handle this one.

UPDATE: The channel was taken down by YouTube right as I was going to look into some of the crazier videos. Of course. Confused
