Kudos to Collider for giving this some attention.

I read that article the other day and thought that the narrative was strange. It bounces between the old Cloverfield timeline and the new one. I have the feeling that for a newb, whom I guess that it was written for, it would be really confusing.

Haven't read this one because it must have HUGE spoilers in it, but I came across the article detailing the differences between the original script and the movie:
10 Cloverfield Lane: Changes from Original Script to Movie
http://screenrant.com/10-cloverfield-lane-script-changes/
Thankfully I messaged the official PR account that handles Paramount releases in my country and they assured me the movie would be premiered here, and most likely soon since they already began promoting it, that's good news for me... But it'll probably happen next month. I see everyone left to the Spoilers thread, though! Every day I see it growing, but I've stayed as far as possible from it.

You're right to not read it, because it spoils pretty much everything of importance in the movie. Definitely try to keep yourself spoiler-free. The experience is so much better raw and new, or at least it was for me (I just saw it for the second time and it was very different knowing what the characters' motivations were).
But that was a great article!! I didn't read The Cellar's script, so it was nice to see where this movie deviated. I think that the movie is a LOT better than the original script, based on that. Much, much better.

Kinda was hoping someone would confirm if that was the case, thank you. I didn't read it either but I expected it to at least go beyond it and fully flesh out its potential. Can't wait to see it once it's announced here.

Oooh! I really wonder what he will say. I'm a much bigger fan of his after this movie. His acting gave me chills!
What does EDT mean? Hopefully whatever it is, it means that they are going to get rid of Daylight Savings time *wishful thinking*.
Antares: Anyone going in and expecting something at The Cellar's level of writing will be really pleasantly surprised, I think.

EDT is eastern daylight time. Currently observing daylight savings time.

Whoa... I had no idea that there were different terms for different times of the year. When did that start? Nobody used that when I was living in WA two years ago.

I don't ever remember a time we didn't use them. WA being in Pacific time zone got "PDT - Pacific Daylight Time" and "PST - Pacific Standard Time"

I grew up in WA and never once heard them. Maybe it's a small town thing. I'm glad that I've learned the term now ,though!

"Fall back, Spring forward." Change your clocks before you go to bed. Once in the fall, once in the spring. Check the batteries in the smoke detector as well.
Adjust to take advantage of daylight hours. President Franklin D. Roosevelt instituted annual DST in 1942.

Oh, I know what Daylight Savings is, of course! Haha. I just had never heard the EDT acronym before, somehow.

Neat! It's nice finally seeing clearer pictures.
The international trailer on the first page of that article, though. Oh man, someone really screwed up there. It spoils basically everything!
