Tension is still running strong! I've become fully immersed. Here is a write up of events up to and including the last in person live event my friend Sean and I had the pleasure of attending:

Tension can be an overwhelming "game" to jump into but if anyone wants to give it a go, feel free to contact me. I'm happy to help acclimate newbies Smile

@KimmyGoodwin I'm sorry to hear that. You're not the only one who has experienced this glitch. Most people found this to be a temporary and were able to get in a day or two later without making any changes.

If you still can't get in, I'd suggest either messaging them on their Facebook page, or contacting them at thetensionexperienceSPLATgmail.com.

Or, even better... PM me with your user name and email address used to sign up and I can contact the player moderators directly on your behalf. They're both my friends and would be happy to help out Smile

TENSION

Curious as to your thoughts on the experience?

I signed up a while ago, but after the questionnaire stopped participating.

Do you recommend it?

Thanks!

stayingscared1971:

I enjoy it very much. There is a very strong sense of community that has been built out of The Tension Experience. As far as the storyline goes, it kind of depends on your personality type. Plot points are often meandering and seem to open more questions than resolve answers. Some of the personalization, even for those not in SoCal, has been really engaging. it's definitely in a class all it's own as far as ARGs go... It's really part ARG, part immersive theater, part horror movie, part ???

@Kimmy No, it was merely a plot twist. Tension is very active.

Tickets Now Available - (Online beta game still active)

Go here for details:

http://thetensionexperience.com

My opinion:

I've been participating in the beta phase of The Tension Experience since late-March/early-April and would not miss this ticketed event for the world. I'd describe Tension as part Immersive Theater, part ARG, part Haunt. Tension has built a fully immersive world based on mystery, suspense, fear, and enlightenment. Characters come to life, choices are presented, lessons are learned, and fear becomes real.

Past experience isn't required in order to partake in the ticketed event OR, for those out of state, to jump into the online community activities.

The highlights of this experience for me have been:

1) the tight kit community that has been built. Online friendships have turned into a real life community.

2) The live personalized events (face-to-face, and dead drops/treasure hunts that have occurred so far in SoCal, NoCal & Kansas City!) and character encounters (phone, text, and social media). Thus far these professionally produced (film & tv industry) experiences have all been completely free, as they test their ideas and build their storylines.
