I extend my congratulations to you.

I am pleased to reveal that Providence has granted you the rare opportunity to become an Initiate in The Order of Arcanum. We are an ancient secret society, our existence unknown to most, with a membership comprised of exceptional persons deeply committed to the ideals upon which the Order was founded. Our origins stretch back to the dawn of human civilization. Every twenty years, we choose a class of new Initiates to join the Order of Arcanum to continue the work begun by our forefathers, and to comprise the next generation of Members of the Order.

New Initiates to The Order of Arcanum must be recommended by an existing Member, and must successfully pass a series of tests and evaluations conducted in secrecy by the Council of Nine. For the past several months, you have been the subject of intense scrutiny and surveillance. In Arcanum ritual, this is known as the Watching Time.

You may recall having encounters with individuals previously unknown to you during this time that seemed unusual or "out-of-the-ordinary." In truth, these persons were Acolytes of the Order sent to gather information and to interact with you to assess your character and potential for initiation.

You may also remember encountering unusual situations or problems in your everyday life during the past few months that required you to find unique solutions and cope with stressful events. These were also tests conducted by The Order of Arcanum to assess your character. Your actions were reported back to the Council of Nine by the Acolytes who observed you.

Finally, you may recall an unusual interaction with a friend that you have known for some time. This was also a test designed to observe your reactions and gauge the depth of your commitment to your principles. This friend is actually a Member of the Order, but for now will remain anonymous to you until your rank within the Order is sufficient for such disclosure.

The Watching Time is now complete, and you have been found to possess the qualities of character desired under the Order's founding principles. The Council of Nine has recommended you for initiation into The Order of Arcanum, and the Grand Exarch and Vice-Exarch have approved your admission.

Your admission into the Order as an Initiate is compulsory. We have invested a great deal of time and resources into your development as a future Member of the Order of Arcanum. The Acolytes assigned to you during the Watching Time will now become your Guardians to ensure your successful transition into the Order. You may not always be aware of their presence, but they will always be near.

You will begin as an Initiate at the Rank of Level 1. To rise through the ranks of the Initiate in the Order of Arcanum, you will learn about the Order's secrets, history, and enemies, and will complete assignments from the Council of Nine that further the aims of the Order. Such tasks may place you in danger, and they will require your full commitment and skill. Our work is of tremendous importance.

 		The address given at the bottom of the email, 3165 Bobcat Village Center Road, North Port, FL 34288, appears to be very near the International Church of Metaphysical Humanism.

Also, what do you make of the picture at the bottom, the partial greek letter Phi?

For what it's worth, the first quatrain found at orderofarcanum.com is from Alexander Pope's "An Essay on Man", and the second is quoted from the Tabula Smaragdina. These two fragments also appear in a book titled "The Genesis Code". http://tinyurl.com/jcku8bh

 		Phi is used in mathematics as the golden ratio. The Golden ratio is interconnected to the Fibonacci sequence.

Fibonacci numbers are of interest to biologists and physicists because they are frequently observed in various natural objects and phenomena. The branching patterns in trees and leaves, for example, the distribution of seeds in a raspberry and sunflowers are based on Fibonacci numbers.
