Even 10 Cloverfield Lane sums it up: Monsters comes in many forms.

New video. Stan decides to have a late night talk.
EDIT: Decided to screenshot one of Stan's notebook pages, brightened it so it could be more readable:

I really, really like Stan in this new series. Nothing feels very rambly, like everything more or less has a purpose, or at least it seems like it.
I notice everyone is intrigued by the whole "people vs. monsters" thing (which is probably a major theme of the season) but also I'm super interested in how Stan is able to drive away Slendy. It can't do more than give him a headache now? Does that have anything to do with the old series, or is it some new thing made just for this one?
Whatever it is, it hasn't stopped Stan from having nightmares about something he's redacted, so I'm wondering about a LOT of stuff and that is GREAT

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if Stan's "immunity" to Slendy is some sort of lingering effect from "Idolon's" ghost/essence/thing.

Not necessarily. The original series may not be cannon any more as he can reshape the back-story from it, much like he did in the first video.
P.S: It may not be true but it's just a theory I had.

I like the Idolon theory but idk how it could work. It's too early in for me to say much, which is sad because THERE'S SO MUCH I WISH I COULD SAY.
I'm doing my best not to compare or connect this to SFBTS (since it's a reboot but also a sequel?) but it's hard because all the basic pieces are there.
I want more, now.

Double post, my bad.
Stan tweeted this a few days ago, and I think I might take part:
Also a while back he tweeted this stuff, probably for the same reason:

Yesterday, there was a tweet made by on Stan Twitter account.
It was a binary code
When translated, it turned out to be......
"April Fools"
It was then followed by a tweet this tweet:
"If you're a middle-man for monsters and you still use binary, you might want to ditch 2012 and join us in the present. #HappyAprilFoolsDay"
Very meta....
Speaking of meta.....

I'm sorry to revert back to a 12 year for a second, but...
That is so fucking arrogant of people, to do something like that. I know it's scripted but people like that piss me off.

WOW. Fuuuck that kid.
Can we talk about Stan saying "this is not a game, jack ass", which is absolutely a hint at the video's point about game jack ing? I really like what this video did with that.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
...Also, is using TT, EMH, and WF's symbols still game jacking if it's in a video about game jacking? I don't know how I feel about that, honestly.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Evan stated on his Twitter that he got permission from the creators of all the series he referenced
And, yes, I also noticed that "game jack" line.

Okay, that is freaking awesome. Wow.
Anyone else feeling really surprised and satisfied with the quality of all this? 5 videos in and I'm as excited as I was with StanFrederickBTS. Maybe MORE excited.

New tweet
So, that sucks, I guess.
Does that mean we'll get a vid on the 17th?

So I'm still a little new here, or maybe I'm just using that as an excuse...but why we so mad at the kid when this is scripted as Michaelishere stated...
Anyhow, I'm oddly amused by this video and it's giving more of a depth on the character Stan. I like videos or shots where you fool the viewer into thinking something and it ends up to be something else entirely. And then going back and seeing the foreshadowing it gives to tell us how it may be something different (the obvious notes that were written/drawn)

I'm referring to the kid as a character... not an actual person. I'm saying he's an asshole like how people love to hate fictional characters in TV shows or movies.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You guys know that the kid is the series' creator's girlfriend's little brother right? And that Evan wrote and shot every episode months in advance? He tweeted about this stuff for months while he was making the season. Pretty sure everything is scripted AND everyone in the show is an actor.
