Do EMH boys have anything to say on the delays?

Not to my knowledge.

Looking at the timelines it seems that for the first couple years the series was updating more or less year-round, whereas that seems to have changed, with little bursts of activity separated by long breaks. That suggests that crucial cast/crew members have moved away and/or have college work demands that mean that they can't physically get together to produce videos as often as they would otherwise like.

Which sucks, but feels to me like a reason to wrap the series up, because you're never more time-rich after college than you were during it in my experience so expecting that the scheduling problems will clear up seems like a forlorn hope.

Watching the latest NightMind video. It saddens me that the series isn't over yet and they're not doing anything to progress.

Have they said anything about the lack of videos?

if you go on the evermanhybrid facebook, youll see that theyve been working on the videos and that they actually have a reason for the delays. Vin's computer was busted for a while. that and they have lives of their own, still developing story, and that the videos sometimes take a while to make. i mean this is a pretty complex series.

Can you give a more specific link (spoilered if need be)? The most recent statement from the boys I can find comes from July, and given that the whole thing has seemed inactive since August that doesn't inspire much confidence.

It's really hard to keep up with the series especially when the last videos have been ''HABIT owns the show and we watch Vinny hopelessly do stuff only for HABIT to ruin it again" rinse and repeat. I know it is the "final act" but not a lot has changed for more than a year.

I think they should stop relying on the audience to advance the plot because they have clearly lost a lot of the attention they used to have.

I don't see how HABIT is going to be defeated without pulling some extreme Deus Ex Machina in this thing

I can't help but agree with what people are saying above. This was a really great series to begin with but sort of like Marble Hornets, I think they've written themselves into a corner and for all we know, it'll end with all Vinny's dead friends congratulating him.

Still, I hold onto hope.

I actually have a theory-one which explains why EMH and TT are constantly crossing over. Here it is: Eventually, Noah will inform the EMH crew of the Severance Symbol's powers, which they shall in turn use to free Evan from HABIT's control. I am not sure how the series would go from there (HABIT still being a threat and all that) but you never know. Maybe there is ANOTHER symbol which, when engraved on a knife alongside the Severance symbol, KILLS said entity that is in control, meaning that both series protagonists could kill said antagonist, ending the series. Then again (at least in Slendy's case), it is possible he will pull a trick similar to a story I read a while back (essentially, girl's brother gets taken, girl finds some kind of bone in a drain, girl stabs slendy with it killing him, girl slowly turns into Slendy).
