 		Interesting... I'll have to take a look at these vlogs. My only concern is the idea of killing off the Slender Man. What makes Slender Man interesting and horrific is how almost all of its characteristics are unknown. Is it immortal? Can it be killed? Knowing that it can be killed kind of ruins that. Don't get me wrong though. I love the way Michael is handling it, with Slendernan posing a threat even after it's dead. However, it can only be expressed so well.

Nonetheless, this does interest me with its possibilities. Which brings me to my next point. Is "Arkn" a reference to the Ark (hehe, to the Ark). If it is, I will be devoted to these mythos. Laughing

 		I think it has something to do with Michael wanting to do something quite different in this mythos, meaning no Slender Man. I assume he thinks it's overused or lackluster.

Even so, the Slender Man's "soul" if it even has one may not have ceased. In Hidden in the Trees, a Fear Mythos blog, the Wooden Girl was able to possess a new body, morphing it into a wooden marionette. Who's to say the Slender Man can't do that as well?

 		Alexander Tamil's (the 'slender man' killer) death occurs sometime before October 3rd in the reports I believe. No cameras were on scene so it's mainly assumed.

 		Arkn Day, May 15th, delays, and a MOVIE?
If you have been following some of the arkn mythos series, you might know that a lot of them have been taking about may 15th for example:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

in handprints Hooks is going to have a showdown with the police

in Michael's Camera Michael/Knight reads that something will happen in May 15th in the Arknchorn(basically the arkn mythos bible)

in The7venthReality Conway says the MEEC will show up in his town on May 15th


BUT

a recent update from Michael says that new videos will have to be delayed:

Im currently en-route to my family's cabin in the woods (lol) and my attempt at uploading the three new videos was met with a mandatory computer update restarting it, and needing to verify my hooks account after a 3 hour upload

so sadly, there is a delay but he also mentions a movie:

 		So, uh, what was the significance of May 15th again? Besides the reveal of the Carver (I gotta catch up on these mythos) and something involving Hooks, I don't see anything that implies that "The World is New" as the creator of TMT said.

 		I'm actually still not sure what it is.. but the next May 15th related video will probably be the Michaels Camera one.

Another thing that just happened it the mythos was the start of the series "Redlight". Now,Ive seen this series mentioned on the facebook group with the teasers and promos for it, but there was never a link posted to the channel during that time. Funny thing is is that one night while looking through some older slenderverse videos, I stumbled upon one of Michael's OLD series "GlassBeetles" All of the original videos are /private/unlisted/deleted and the channel name was now "Redlight Omega" with one video. Well, what a find. So I subscribed, and in between the time of subscribing and right now there was a second video uploaded and the second one was actually posted to the Facebook group. The series seems to revolve around aliens based on the description and Michael's use of the phrase "ay lmao" while posting it one the facebook group.

Yeah I can agree on this. I don't think it would happen, though. As much as I do love The Arkn Mythos, not many of the series really line up with the traditional definition of an Alternate Reality Game. Like, most of them are just webseries with casual viewer interaction occasionally and very few actually rely on decisions made by players which is kind of what an arg is all about. At least, from what I can understand. In the meantime, though, there are a separate forums created specifically for Arkn Mythos creations, so perhaps until or if the mythos gets a sub-forum we can use this one for now?
