 		CONTACT: Marcus, phone, 6/17
Ok, so Marcus just called me. We were making small talk about his trip when he said he had to go outside to get something from his car. He said that he might lose his reception. I hear a bit of static, then what sounded like a crash! He swore, there was some more banging, then he yelled for someone to call 911!! Just before we got cut off,he told me he'd call me back. So i'm not really sure what to do....i guess I'll just wait for his call.


edit: Ok, Marcus finally called me back, like 10 minutes later. When he was going out to his car, he used his keyless entry and his car blew up!!! He says that he's worried that our meddling will get someone killed, and its looking like it might be him. He asked that we back off right now, and that he might be out of touch for a few days. Sandy called the cops, and his dog (Josh) ran off after the explosion. He kept stressing that we seriously need to watch who we talk to...he said we've been acting like a bunch of children who have been given the keys to nuclear weapons....


I dunno, I really think we need to start using some restraint in this game...I don't want to start getting preachy or anything, expecially not when I'm still really shaken up from the call, but we should probably really start to use a bit more common sense and restraint in our interactions from now on....if nothing else, so Marcus doesn't get killed!!

Actually, I'm willing to bet that this kinda thing would've happened regardless of what any of us did. OE does have a variety of ex-secret ops under it's employ. Even if we completely left Church and OE alone, it was only a matter of time before they brought out the "fireworks."

To elaborate a bit, I think it might be a warning because of the fact Marcus mentioned that the bomb went of when he triggered his remote controlled key. If that did trigger the bomb, the person that planted it knew it would go off without him inside the car... so this it might "only" be a warning or a sign to show things are getting really serious (with OmniscientEyes(?))... just spec'ing though.

I don't think we know anything for sure about what happened... I hope Marcus finds some stuff out and tells us Smile (or, well, we find it out and tell him Very Happy )
