Looks like they're adding a members page and an activity page. 2 Members so far. John and "Hi" (01101000 01101001).

Add to that, "test test."
EDIT: Looks like "test test" really was a test account; it's gone. BUT, if you head to Twitter, 01101000 01101001 is pretty actively tweeting.
EDIT 2: I'm not always the brightest. While this account seems very similar to the theme of surveillance in MM so far, it joined Twitter in 2009. I may have just followed a pretty shady guy.

So I'm assuming John isn't a player?
Also, the I feel like the Twitter is giving clues, but kinda lost on me.
EDIT: Just got my e-mail with login info! If you see me on the membership page, the name will be JabberwockKiller

Mine as well! I'll be Themightymooker (big shock, right?). Looks like we have a mission set out before us. I'll hide it in case people haven't had a chance to see the post yet.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looks like we want to find Javier. Details are pretty scarce so far, though, so let's wait and see how we can go about that.

Does anyone have any hints on how to work on this puzzle? I'm a little stumped.

New email was sent out. Small puzzle, but it's a pretty simple one, so I won't get into the details. I love the steady stream of updates we've been getting so far.

I got nothing after 2 days of staring at this puzzle.
The only thing I noticed was the 'coincidence' that right around sending out security two about 2 factor authentication, they turned on 2fa through the wordpress dashboard. I've played around with that feature every way I can think of to find some meaning to the numbers, nothing.
The numbers themselves don't seem terribly meaningful. The first 2 lines are literally just counting in order.

Still no new email for me...do I take it as I got the first one wrong so they didn't bother sending me another one?

Security 2 was sent out in as a link to (some of the?) people on the mailing list. Other than me and obviously ElectricHippo getting it, I can't say who else got it.
I could be wrong on the exact details but the order of emails seems to go like this.
Once you subscribe on the mm.org page you get the 'greetings, masters' page with a link to the skill survey.
Shortly after filling out the survey I got Security one.
I believe after getting that right that I got an email with login details to the site.
A couple days later (now a couple days ago) I got Security two in the email.
The binary is a more special case that I think just went out to everyone no matter what stage they were at. The idea behind that was to broadcast.
I'm pretty sure if you just answer the puzzle without having an account, you're not going to get a response , but I could be wrong on that. Make sure you've signed up and done the skill survey and if you've done that, then yeah, double check your answer to security one. You can pm me your guess if you want.
As for the puzzle itself. I've tried making a phone number of out of those numbers. I've now accidentally crank called about a dozen people before giving up that idea. Also thought maybe the numbers turned into a one time passcode for a drop box account or something based on the 2fa reading, but then for what account?
Based on security one, the answer was in the required reading. But I've read those two articles like 5 times each now and I'll be damned if I can see anything even close to a correlation to the numbers in them. But there's got to be some clue somewhere. There's almost always some clue. I just don't think we recognize it.
