I'm with you on the lack of patience right now though.

I dunno this whole post they made about this being the alpha for something and there being a kickstarter later just makes me question what's up here. Every description of what this is is incredibly vague.

I'm pretty sure the idea of character counting is the solution.

I've been able to figure out at least one word that I'm almost positive is correct. The others though it just seems like the counts never line up right. Maybe I have a second word figured out but I'm less sure about it . The first word, honestly no idea. I don't get anything meaningful.

Anyway I took a stab at a solution.

Received two new emails. Unfortunately nothing about Security Two.

First email:

I've sent in 2 answers for security 2 a few days apart. First was what it seemed like the numbers told me it should be, even though it made no logical sense as a phrase, and the second taking an educated guess at a more 'reasonable' pass code. Never got a response to either.

I thought maybe getting the latin email was because I got security 2 right, but I guess not.

You know a 'sorry try again' response would be handy.

The second email. Damn it they're going to make me relearn latin aren't they? They've made the text complicated enough that google translate is utterly useless except for a few sentences.

The title translates to Help. And as far as I can tell a reasonable interpretation of the first three sentences are:

Figure we've stalled a bit so time to compare notes.

@Dfoxy: Security one. Basically read the required reading, look at what it talks about and specific things it mentions. Then look at the words/numbers in security one after the link and see if you can make any sense of what's there.

Security Two: I totally think Jim Sawyer was right when he said the key is counting characters. I proved this to myself by focusing on the second required reading and the more interesting, and varied, numbers that followed. If you figure out which characters are at the numbers in that article you will come up with a very specific 9 letter word. The odds of 9 random numbers giving you 9 random characters to form a word is so small it's almost impossible.

Edit: Wait, I just went back to security two to see the numbers...they're gone. Very odd.

I have the numbers on another computer. I'll get them in a bit and post them here and continue this.
