holy heck I actually feel really relieved that I didn't win the lottery; I honestly didn't expect there to be an actual winner or anything, and I'd likely be as/even more nervous about this than the guy on Reddit who did win says he is. I've been stressing out over life stuff enough as it is. x'D My lottery number was similar to his but was just one digit off, so that gave me a bit of a jolt.

I will also call BS on their viral marketing claims! Unless this is all just an ARG about a ridiculously sketchy and unprofessional organic foods company that has the dumbest marketing team ever that doesn't know what it's doing (because dropping hints that you're a murderous cult is the best way to make consumers trust you and buy your products! :D)

On the subreddit, there were some people asking about the spectrogram of the congratulation video that the winner was sent, and since it didn't seem like anyone else tried looking at it already, I attempted it using Spek (http://spek.cc/). It looked like this: http://i.imgur.com/pPKadOP.png

Doesn't look like much to me, although there are little dashes at the top that might be more visible with a different program. Might not be anything though. I don't know what I'm doing, anyways

So, I watched 'Congratulations' video a couple of times, and this is what I have to share:

1) Left ear is getting more love (louder) than right one. I don't know if it bears any significance, but keep that in mind, I guess.

2) There are just 3 notes played in this video with some fancy effects overlaid on them. And those tones? 1000 Hz tone and one just above it. What is significance of said tones? 1000 Hz is the standard tone you hear on TV when test card is on. Yeah, that annoying sound. Bet you did not recognize it.

3) Here is spectrogram for your amusement, though I don't see anything useful in it.

After watching the Congratulations video a couple of times and reading other people's observations on it, I'm pretty convinced there's nothing up with it. Nothing interesting, anyway.

My money's on the most recent video, the raffle winner one, having something hidden in it. But since a lot of the footage is from past videos, it's damn hard to figure out what's new

On reddit, the lottery winner has admitted he's a short filmmaker on some sort of internship, but swears he's not part of the ARG. I don't know that I believe him.

Also, today's SpecOrgCorp tip of the day was "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction."

Which of course makes me want to sing the remainder of "Washington on your Side" from Hamilton.

@Graved: Ooh, thanks for the insight on the Congratulations vid! Now I feel that the video may just have been made in a way to make it seem a little off.


Sooo... if gwhitehurst doesn't contact SpecOrg about winning the lottery and they end up picking one of the users over here, is it more likely that things will progress? I'm not sure what I'd do if I was picked, cause even though I'm certain that there's not going to be any trip to Toronto, I don't know what their plans for the winner are... _{sorry in advance if I win, haha}

Well a new interesting video has gone up. The guy on reddit said he emailed them saying he didnt want the prize but looks like thwy are going ahead with him being the winner anyway
