Working on the morse I messed around in Audacity to get the best image I could of the morse code starting about 1:49. It's at exactly 550 Hz and I used a combination of high and low pass filtering to try and get as much of the "other" sound out as possible. It's still not very clear but I'll post what I have in the hopes that someone can continue looking. Perhaps use the image and put a grid on it with where the expected tones would be for dots and dashes and see what matches?

I've lost all ability to tell whether this is real or just really really meta. So if gwhitehurst is the person who created the original ARG... Was he the previous character we met over Reddit too? The ex-Spectacular Organic employee? And if all this is the premise we're accepting, then this is either a real life example or a very well done story of a creator's creation eclipsing and engulfing them.
