New ARG #The Runner!

https://www.go90.com/therunner has internet famous MatPat hosting and has daily puzzles which are truly challenging that take into account Twitter and the rest of the Web, so I'm nominating it to have it's own Topic in Chaotic Fiction. Though it is a reality show, it is shaped by the people of the internet. I'd post the picture of the first puzzle but it doesn't have it's own web address, you will have to scroll through this https://twitter.com/therunnergo90 to find the already listed puzzles.
There are cash prizes for the first people to solve the puzzles but only if you are in the US and you can't watch the show without being in the US (or get a VPN). But anyone can tweet the answer or part of it to the chasers (their goal is to catch the runner) and potentially get rewarded by them.
It looks like something unfiction users would be interested in so I'd like to let them know!

This sounds like a puzzle trail to me, in the sense that it's not a fully-developed meta-fictional story, but it is full of deep puzzles. Perhaps not an ARG, but thanks for the heads-up so we can get work on trying to win those prizes. Wink

Definitely not an ARG in the "alternate reality" sense, because the puzzles are meant to assist real people in a reality competition. In the other sense of it being a real-time game, with audience participation, I can see how it will appeal to the same audience.

I can see the puzzles on the twitter feed, but I don't always see the answers posted later. The race itself isn't really my kind of entertainment, so I'm not signing up for the Verizon stream myself.
