Yeah the words 'possible decimal' on that image disturb me. That makes a lot more options possible. There are some seemingly random "dots" on the map. I can't tell if any look like valid decimal points though.

This is the payload that Key Aspect was sent. My last message from Ana about it confirmed that is the correct pay load but she also added:

:::::Affirmative:::::
:::::HQ suspects Key Aspect payload represents decimal point:::::
:::::2nd sabotage attempt to be made ASAP:::::

Looks like we need to figure out another frequency with a decimal point. Reading down from the top we have 13 rows above the decimal point and 2 below so I assume somehow we read the number top to bottom.

Well perhaps the 9, which looks like a dot, is the decimal point. Maybe that 9 in a row of 3's is telling us which column we need?

So that would be

1,924,497,290,205.21

Just joined up. Sorry if I've got any formatting errors...

GuestUser17, I wanted to point out that in your first transcription of the aligned puzzle (and in all the subsequent uses of your list of frequencies), you've got a "0" in row 4 col 8 marked down as a "1." So you've got "4,496,014,152,590" but it ought to be "4,496,014,052,590." It might not matter but it could be important...

If the 3333339333333 line is supposed to be a decimal point, maybe we should be reading the numbers down, not across? That would still leave us with 13 digits before the decimal, plus two after it. Reading the values this way gives us

3334065013113.10
544949031581.60
8309550020834.03
7806201310772.85
9990503880147.78
1911008930408.48
1924497290205.21
4920161112901.49
2925022491996.16
2922615130116.33
9905916151382.92
909490340323.83
3900490914010.96

Considering the range we've established, the only acceptable values are these:

544949031581.60
1911008930408.48
1924497290205.21
2925022491996.16
2922615130116.33
909490340323.83

I've already sent these 6 frequencies to Command. The one in bold both falls within our range and lines up with that suspicious 9 in the "decimal" line, so I told ANA to prioritize that one, but she's received all of them.

Any other ideas?

EDIT: looks like I took much too long to finally hit post hahaha, nice job Kaliel I think we're on the right track for sure (maybe we even already solved it)

Welcome aboard, Ketchup_Keith.

I think that's currently the best shot we've got. But then this makes time number 4 I thought I was onto something so what do I know? Smile

We'll find out. On the positive side we have until End Of Day on the 21st we should have tonight, then tomorrow night to try should tonight's attempt not work.

Good catch Ketchup_Keith. It looks like it has not mattered up to this point fortunately.

Another guy from Cobalt Quarter checking in.

http://forums.radioreference.com/new-user-getting-started-forum/246921-frequencies-5-decimal-places.html

From the above link, it seems that radio frequencies commonly have 3 numbers to the left of the decimal. Perhaps this will help us?

Hey ferelli, I'm CQ too. Don't forget that ANA told us "they are using submillimeter Terahertz (THz) frequencies to communicate." We've learned that that means the frequency's between 300,000,000 and 3,000,000,000. I think the link you sent was specifically in regards to common radio signals, which operate at significantly lower frequencies than what Ana has us looking for. Hope that cleared some stuff up

Damn. According to Night 29 it looks like we won't have the last "guess&check" opportunity we were hoping for before deadline.

For anyone trying to figure out more potential frequencies, this is my current thought process in case it'll help you:

1. Reading anything left-to-right (or right-to-left) doesn't make sense because those answers wouldn't incorporate the "decimal" line.
2. Reading bottom-to-top doesn't make sense because that will only give 2 digits before the decimal (we need 12/13)
3. That leaves only top-to-bottom, meaning we seem to have only 13 options, and all freqs within our range have already been submitted.

Seems to me that the only way we could be missing something is if we're meant to do some sort of mathematics with all these extra numbers (somehow combining them into one acceptable freq?) but that seems unlikely, since we don't have any hint at an order of operations.

Also @Trigger Zippline the best way for you to get up to speed is to finish watching all the videos and read what has been said on here. You're still getting in on all this pretty early so it shouldn't take you too long.

From latest email:

"JARR HQ has extrapolated depth data from a section of cadet assembled transmission:
https://youtu.be/0G5p8c--uJs

Use depth extrapolation to refine frequency list."

Now I'm lost again. Ideas?

I was sent the following video this morning:

https://youtu.be/0G5p8c--uJs

It seems to show that the white square we thought was zero actually has some depth to it. What could this mean?

No idea what it could mean but Terahertz are also used in imaging. It has been used to find hidden sketches or figures in famous paintings. I went down that route at the beginning, but couldn't figure out how we were supposed to use the info that way. Not sure if that has any relevance now or not.

It appears the other blocks gain some depth as well. The white square looks like a tower of blocks. My initial thought was that it must represent 10.

I just keep staring at this sentence of the email asking myself..."what the hell does that mean?"

It sounds like they're saying we're wrong about what those white square are but....what else could they be?

Edit: My initial thought was also that it means 10, like Latentmoths...but I don't know how that would work.
