Those co-ordinates are locating in the ocean. off the coast of Australia, northeast of Brisbane

I did. I asked him on the thread about 2074. (That's what i'm calling him now, typing his full name every time is a pain) I asked him about the meaning of the co-ordinates, as they probably don't have something buried there or something, and I was told he couldn't tell me. ("Yet", he added). I tried sending him a DM, just in case he just doesn't want it in the public eye. I also plan on asking him if he knows who 2074 is, or any info about him that isn't classified.

I just got a DM from Tutorialhacks.



The binary translates to "andysay islandyay", which I'm pretty sure is "Pig Latin" for sandy island.[/img]

Yeah, I got the same message through DM, except I just got the binary. Something's definitely up here, although I'm not certain how much info we can get right now. Whoever we're talking to, they seem to be keeping their lips zipped on certain subjects.

As they keep hiding tags like #helpme and so on, their tweets are probably being monitored, so they can't disclose too much information. Also 2074 replied to the co-ordinates with @ihaydencct NEGATIVE COORDINATES ARE MISSING THIRD DIMENSION. I'm about to ask if tutorialhacks knows what/if he knows about 2074.

It seems like kind of an odd thing to enjoy. In other news, I found the formulas and did the math to find the XYZ (Cartesian) co-ordinates, so now hopefully 2074 can parse them.

Thanks to This forum post on physicsforums for the formulas.

Where ϕ is the longitude, θ is the latitude, and ρ is the radius of the Earth

x = (6371)cos(19.2500)sin(159.9333)
x = 1666.00783356

y=ρsinθsinϕ
y=(6371)sin(19.2500)sin(159.9333)
y=705.249065528

z=pcosθ
z=(6371)cos(19.2500)
z=5866.97726255

Math ends here.

So, the Cartesian coordinates are 1666.00783356, 705.249065528, 5866.97726255.

Knowing me, I probably messed up bad. (Geography & Math are not my strong suits.) If someone could check my math that would be nice. I want to make sure it's somewhat valid before I tweet 2074.

Interesting. Im currently tossing some info at 2074, seing if there is a way to gain confidential access or if Sandy Island means anything. Will update later on this.

His capitalization is a bit weird, and the capital characters/numbers spell out "G0BIASSI". I couldn't find anything relating to G0BIASSI, except for a liscence plate site, so I'm assuming it has no purpose.

Also, him acknowledging it was "Sandy Island" means he knows about this thread, an the other ones too, and is probably among us, lurking.

Also, he may be trapped on a Sandy Island as well.

I won't be posting here anymore, I'll be working on the megathread.
