Log-in to omniscienteyes OK
I learned in Acheron that login/password sites are puzzles to be solved. ( the word "hack" is so ugly...)
Let's figure this one out now.
This thread starts it:

one of these days see, those of you who missed the flippin' orb puzzle from Acheron may not understand completely the feelings evoked by a blank log-in page...at least she doesn't have those freakin' kick-out sites...
USER NAME : SPEC BY ME
case sensitive ( everything else is)
from last email to me:
achurch
AChurch
aleciac [but this sounds like a stomach ailment or a type of wheat]
AleciaC
???
others

This will be the end of what is left of my sanity...

Church sure did invite them well. Such a stupid password
So why can't I get it?
Sure they're always easy once you know the answer.

I have tried everything I know of ( which obviously is not enough) about Ms. Crurch

I think Marcus is giving us clues to the password in his convo with Ophelia:
Quote:
No, in fact I encourage the opposite
mthesburg: Stay away and stay low-key as possible. TOBI cracked the site
mthesburg: What we saw, you don't want to mess with
mthesburg: We are just happy Alecia has no imagination when it come to passwords
And on his blog:
Quote:
After so many years of saying, "information needs to passed through poetry." And "the web is too unsecure."
Maybe "lowkey" means no caps in the password? I did try the letters on the bottom row of the keyboard...low keys. So far nothing. Also, Marcus's reference to passing info in poetry....maybe there's a clue in Melody's poem or, as Enaxor found out, it's a reference to Alecia's ancestor being a poet. Maybe Benjamin is the password, or the title of one of his poems. I'm going to go try some more stuff.

Login tries Per SLake's suggestion here , I'm giving ya'll all the login tries that I've done personally. I think we need to take this approach. For once, let's give Steve a little credit and do things his way. Please...I really think he wants to help us, he's just having a hard time with us not following his subtle lead.
BTW, I've tried all usernames with all passwords that I've supplied here.
Usernames:
achurch (just my thoughts, this sounds *right*)
aleciachurch
aleciac
Passwords:
church
ideltech
tobi
devil (SLake said this word to describe church at least 5 times in his last chat convo)
witch
hcruhca (achurch backwards)
hcruhcaicela (aleciachurch backwards)
caicela (aleciac backwards)
If this seems to catch on as a good idea, I'll come back later and post any others that I think of trying.

I have only tried the username "achurch", but have tried a number of passwords, including:
password, secret, private, God, god, achurch, church, alecia, various permutations of omnscienteyes, and a few other words . I believe Enaxor was trying some church-related terms (pew, altar, etc.) Someone in IRC mentioned she likes poker and chess--so those may be term categories to try.

I'm staying away from this one, but what about Benjamin, that wonderful ancestor, for the password?

should we be looking at all known corespondence from alicia. marcus said she invited us. the clue may lie in her words.

I tried a few church related ones - spire, chapel etc etc
And Benjamin, nothing yet tho.
If the PM's read these logs they're gonna find out just how colourful my language *really* is I'm throughly [replace that with any number of words with 4 letters ending in 'ing'] fed up with this thing now
Maybe we need to wait for that bit of info which will tip us in there...
I'm with Bri and KyraB - I think achurch is the one to go for...
It would make sense as it's her email address...

Guys
I don't have the patience
but I'm begging you please try AChurch or Achurch ...it has to be case sensitive. That is just the pattern here.
And it should be something relating to her relative I think.
spy?
Marcus said something about Mother against Father?
poetry?
We have to be close if it's easy.

I agree rose, in your guy's chat log with SLake he hinted at that login, didn't he? I would use those variations of user names.
I already tried AChurch and achurch with the following passwords:
award
fold
blackjack
but got nothing, and I am too impatient to try more lol

I got interested in the Wikipedia logo on the LLL site, so I checked Wkipedia, and there is an "Achurch " registered.

I've actually revised my theory and am trying "aleciac" as the username. That happens to be the part before the "@" in her email address in the domain registration database, so it sort of makes sense.
