Esther/Lifehacker appears to be being very active tonight! Talking to her in simple codes seems to be a useful way of getting information, as does solving riddles and answering jokes she throws out. I will compile what we've learned later, but for now, if anyone wants to get in on the fun, go to the @Tutorialhacks twitter and strike up a conversation!

EDIT: The encrypted message Esther just posted, when translated using the Vigenere cipher with the key "nn" reads:

New info from last night. Feel free to add anything I missed.

She used to work at a fast food restaurant with a woman named Susie. Esther had a crush on Susie "until he (Tommy) took her away. There were a total of 7 people taken: Susie, Esther, Gareth, Drew, Jacob, and two who haven't been named. I posted this morning in code asking if she will name the last two. All but Esther seem to be dead now, i believe for not complying with Tommy's orders.

When Esther answers questions or reveals information in plaintext, he/she (I'm unclear of gender; always thought Esther was a female name) regrets it quickly and tries to backtrack. He also shut down the questions at one point, saying we should only answer his riddles. He prefers to speak in code if giving any info. ("He doesn't understand this." If you criticize Tommy, even us observers, you get put on a list. You can be removed from the list by retracting your statement.

There may be video at some point in the future.

Zobot, did you switch to a new cipher at some point last night? I stopped being able to follow your thread.

Just a bit of new info:

We now have the names of all seven people who were held captive: Katie, Mark, Susie, Jacob, Gareth, Drew, Esther.

And Esther has made a couple of comments that we should be working together and speaking with others "who might be involved in this mess. So, who could that be? So far, three individuals have raised curiously: @2074_73C, @takebackhome (showrunner), and the person operating the blog. Showrunner is the most active. 2074 has gone silent, but I wonder if we need to nudge him/it again...

Yeah. I'm honestly not sure what to do now. Esther hinted we needed to ask people outside the situation, but we don't know who to ASK. Are there any characters outside the situation we can consult or recruit? This seems fairly self contained...

I think the ony way somethings going to happen is if we break that tie on the poll, its at 50% both ways at this point. Or the people who applied to be entertainers hear back from showrunner.

So it looks like Showrunner has finished answeering emails and has made a list of all the entertainers with an assigned number. Maybe we can contact some people on this list, and see if they know anything that can help.

also it seems like Esther is back in twitter, now posting advice along with the tutorials/life hacks. shes also tweted out the number 5. No idea what it could mean though, maybe the name from Showrunner's list "Dulcifer Damus".

I'm out of ideas. The website that Esther linked us to seems a dead end, and there's not a lot of other things to DO at this ARG at the moment except poke Esther, and I don't know what else to ask?

Anyone else have any guesses what we should do other than wait?

Esther has been replaced by Jack.

the tutorialshacks account was active on twitter a few hrs ago

and it appears this game is linked with 'Procedure 12' as @showrunner is the focus of the latest video uploaded.

One of my tweets got replied to today, from when esther wrote the number 5 in a tweet and I asked what it meant. I don't know who was the one replying, but when @tutorialhacks came back online I got the reply "5 left". No idea what that means
