TRAILHEAD... New ARG - Blackout System.
The weirdest book.

Sorry if this has been posted before...
Yesterday I found this book on Amazon called The Space You Find. I read the description and found it strange or it just sounded odd. Anyway the book is weird, because it's a Story/Puzzle hunt. It sends you all over the internet, you have to watch videos, solve riddles and study pictures. Anyway, to make a long story short, it lead me to this website: http://www.567413670.com/en/. I got a password from inside the book and went on the website, it's like an operating system that you have to use to complete missions and tasks as a Secret Agent. According to the website, they need people to join.
Anyway, has anyone come across this before? What do you guys think?

Hey, this sounds pretty interesting! I am curious for sure, but I was wondering if you could give us a little more information. A link to the book's Amazon page would be a nice short cut. Also, what were some of the themes presented in the book--that is, was it just a series of puzzles, or were those puzzles connected in some way? Finally, it might be nice for those of us who don't intend to buy the book if you could hide the password behind a spoiler so they can explore the site and see what they can find.

Sorry if that was a lot to ask for. I only ask because I'm pretty interested, and I'd love to know more!

The link is: https://www.amazon.com/Space-You-Find-Deep-Rabbit-ebook/dp/B01HYD33CM/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1467734338&sr=1-1&keywords=The+space+you+find

They call the riddles, "Operations", it's pretty cool, because, the operations follow the story and are intertwined with the story. Also The operations are linked to each other, because you start at #1, but you can't do #2 if you don't have the correct answer to #1. All the operations work like that. You have to find the previous answer to complete the next one. And like I say all the operations have relevance to the story. Some operations are easy and other more difficult.
I tried to send the link of the website on the other side of the password popup, but every time I click on the link it stops at the password.
I would give the password, but my personal info is linked to the password.
I can tell you more about what's going on if you want me to.

Okay, that is very fair. That was plenty of info, thank you! It was enough that I am downloading the book now. I'll let you know about my opinions once I get to your point (might be a while).

Here is a link to a youtube video, that is one of the answers to an operation.
It's is a spoiler so be aware of that.

The idea is, that you watch this video, find the answer and then move forward in the book.

Your link was not well formatted. It's also not really a spoiler because it's just a URL.

The book is called "The Space You Find: How Deep Does The Rabbit Hole Go?" by Decimus Glow (editor), and seems to be only an eBook. It may be available from retailers other than Amazon -- I wonder if Unfiction wants to create a referrals account to link to these kinds of purchases.

The Amazon description gives this:
Quote:
Seek and you shall find. Do not stutter in your attempt, for the night is darkest just before the break of dawn.
Many of you will attempt, many of you will fail. To those we say: Continue to live your life and follow the herd into oblivion.
To the few that succeed, it is you we seek. We call you our Brother. We call you our Sister. It is you that shall find the light and meet us on the other side.
We will be waiting.

Amazon's "Look Inside" feature lets you see the table of contents and the text of the first two chapters of the story, so you can sample the writing style, but it stops before revealing the first Operation.

btw, This book just appeared for Kindle on July 3rd. There does not appear to be any trace of Decimus Glow before this weekend.

I've been cracking at the first operation for about 2 hours now. I made an account here just to ask for help. So far, on the text, I've gotten (Spoiler!):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
THE EAGLE HAS(27) LANDED ON A BRANCH WITH(27) LEAVES IN MANY TOWNS THERE ARE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE THAT CAN SPEAK WHEN THE SUN RISES(27) THE KOALA EATS EUCALYPTUS TO BE ANONYMOUS

Also, (Spoiler)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Is the flight from Johannesburg, South Africa to Bochum, Germany?

I'll keep posting updates here unless told otherwise

I believe so.

I am trying to solve the video. I have a list of all of the items mentioned, but need to work out the one that I need.

Need help please.

They sent me this file, and all they said in the email was: "Look for what you can't find."

The attached document is the PDF they sent me. I know the text is in french and I have used a translator app to see what it means, but as far as I can tell it seems like a story or something.
Any help will be awesome, because I am stuck.
What am I missing?
Is there maybe a pattern that I don't see?

I've gotten to the second operation, but I'm also stuck on which phrase dose not fit. I thought the way the woman said it before rolling the clip was interesting. "Do not. FIT.". I've searched all the music videos and turned up nothing. Although, I find it interesting that there are book titles and authors that match up. Such as, "The Voyage [of] the Beagle", and several items later, "Charles Darwin".

It talks about how it is a wolf, but used to be a seven year old Jewish girl named Mishke. Possibly a clue? Could we get the contents of the email?

I have the answer to that operation. I have already done it. I can help you if you want....

Coming back to the email they sent me. "Look for what you cant find" is literally all that was said. They have introduced me to a squad/team and we are working together on this task, but it seems they are also stumped.

That would be great! I'm very excited to crack the rest of the book and get on the website

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Look at the dates of the items, you'll see that the Black Eyed Peas are the youngest by decades. You have to watch their video for operation 3.

This should help.
