[Meta] Ideltech advertise on Jobs.net !

Look here

Quote:
Would you like to be involved in furthering the efforts of the western world against the threat of terrorism?
Do you want to make a real difference to your countrys ability to gain information on those organisations which could be posing a direct threat to national security?

We have a handful of volunteer positions available to monitor and verify the accuracy of a new generation of search engine technology. The system we have designed is far more advanced than anything available today, and has already attracted the attention of the US Security Services, as well as several lucrative take-over bids from very well regarded security software system organisations.

The software is highly advanced, and returns search data based not just on key words (like Google, Yahoo! and so on), but also on contextual relevance, geographic information and personal network contacts.

For further information, and an application form, please apply on www.ideltech.com (please do not submit your CV to us). When completing the online form, please fill in the referal field with the code SLIK.

Applicants must possess the following skills:

- be computer literate
- advanced internet skills, especially in data searching and retrieval
- tenacity
- perseverance
- a desire to do the right thing and to make a difference to their countrys security network

Further background information on this concept can be found at: www.ruaware.org

I just feel bad for all those signing up through jobs.net. For them, it's a volunteer position. For all of us who got in on the ground floor, we get paid $27k/year. Woohoo! Very Happy Very Happy

I gotta say tho, it's a interesting way to get more people involved in AWARE (or TAFKAA or whatever we're calling it these days).

This mass EMail from Jude tells all. (Someone is seriously busted here...)

Quote:
subject: Contest

Employees,

It has come to my attention some of you are posting about jobs at ideltech
on job sites such as jobs.com We here do not feel it is the proper way to
earn points, if Ideltech wanted to hire just anyone, we would have placed
the ads ourselves in those places or similar ones. Therefore SILK will
have any points earned removed and will not be included in the contest for
posting ads to www.jobs.com and www.jobs-ad-venture.com.

We wanted the employees to refer only peple they knew to be good employees
not just any joe off the street.

Please refrain from using similar methods.

Thank You,
Jude

My friend told me to post it for her!!

I'm currently in an ARG (Alternate-Reality-Game) called AWARE. Its really fun! You can go to http://www.ruaware.org/intro.htm and read about it in the 'What is it!' part. If you're interested in joining the ARG (which I beg you to) you can go to "Begin" on the AWARE page, and read the article and thats what the topic of the game is really. There will be a link in that article to www.ideltech.com and then you can go to employment and sign up if you want to be in the ARG. The company in reality is FAKE but its supposedly 'real' and its part of the ARG. You can work alone... which I prefer, or you can go to www.unfiction.com and go to the AWARE forum and catch up then and continue working with their group. The most 'private' info that you have to give out is your City and E-mail.. and Name of course, but you can always have an Alias.

You can also go to www.unfiction.com to find out more about alternate reality gaming.

If you decide to sign up email me at S*****_B*****_*****@*****l.com because I get rewards for recruiting people. Just don't forget to sign up at Ideltech too. If they ask you who referred you say it's Sydney Bristow.

If you sign up do it by tomorrow.. THANKS!!

This person specified it was a game in the begining where the one on the employment boards had it listed as a *legitimate* job.

I'd say this one is OK.
