I'm on a roll

Next one:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
one of the frames in the animated gif shows the following in red:
where she is

Another
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
break the binary into buches of 8, convert to decimal, then map to letter (a=1 z=26)
Yields: what she is

The actual page though is titled THAT_she_IS

I don't have a clue here, and I've gotten mixed up so many times already and had to go back and watch again, only to get lost again.....I'm getting dizzy.

In my own defense - 00010100 = t. It was too late to change the autocorrect, though.

I thought Justin already solved it? If he doesn't post hints tomorrow, I will Smile

Oh, also: "Город стреляетв ночь". It's supposed to be "Город стреляет в ночь" - 1090 is combined with 32 (standing).

Justin - if I'm understanding your "wall" correctly - the next one is up. Sorry, guys - I got kind of inspired by this mayday thing. Rolling Eyes It should be fun, though Very Happy

Shame...

Seems i can't type straight...

As for the next one...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Again, i'm not sure if there is an easier way of solving it, but i took all the different times down like so:
1 2 3.5 4 5 5.5 4 3 3 6 7 8 3 9.5 4 10 6.5 11 2 3 12 5 6.5

From there, substitute for letters, using the .5 as spaces. You have to use the .5's hour, so it gives:

abc dee dccfghci djf kbclef...
The rest is simple subst

Seperated in case you want to solve it... if not:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
But all attempts are futile

Now come and join me with the next one!

Start

Ok, i think i've got most of it identified, but i still have no idea what to do with all of it yet...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Starting top left
1-Cross? that's Dali's Christ Crucified 2 with a what seems to be either a cross or a flattened cube.

2-T: G= 8pi * T is Einstein's Field Equation

3-Bittersweet Rain is a book by Sandra Brown, it start in a doctor's office, in Winstonvillw, Mississippi

4-Excerpt from Roadside Picnic, a russian story by the Strugackie brothers; Valentine says it to Noonan

5-Blurred text= Caucasus Mountains, latin: "All roads lead to": Rome

6-Planck: It gives the value for the Planck Mass, Planck distance and Plank time

7-What: From The Universe In A Nutshell by Stephen Hawking; The quote is missing a word: What (one cannot determine what is real)

8-??: Pictures are Peter the Great, the text says something about the shores of St-??? being full of something, i think, someone should come back with a translation later today...)

Been away since yesterday and am just now getting a look, thanks for the help Justin on the last one (clock)....my eyes were going buggy.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The bottom right is actually a pic of Alexander Pushkin who wrote the poem "The Bronze Horseman" (which is the other pic). The statue is a monument to Peter the Great and located in St. Petersburg.

I'm sure I have some letters wrong, but thus far have gotten:

On coast deserted Eopn StoEl it of thoughts Eelikih poln

As a text translation.

Maybe it has something to do with the poem........it's pretty long so I'll just give a LINK.

This part:

There, by the billows desolate,
He stood, with mighty thoughts elate

Sort of matches up with the partial translation.

Actually:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looking at a Russian Text Version of the poem, the first two lines match up with the text on the puzzle page. So the English translation is above, and I assume we are either looking for Pushkin, Peter the Great or The Bronze Horseman.

And for:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
God doe2 not play d1ce

Einstein was very unhappy about this apparent randomness in nature. His views were summed up in his famous phrase, 'God does not play dice'. He seemed to have felt that the uncertainty was only provisional: but that there was an underlying reality, in which particles would have well defined positions and speeds, and would evolve according to deterministic laws, in the spirit of Laplace. This reality might be known to God, but the quantum nature of light would prevent us seeing it, except through a glass darkly.

Peter...

A few thoughts:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The bronze Horseman in the poem IS Peter the Great. The statue we see in the pic is called "The Bronze Horseman". It stands in...
St-Petersburg!

So i guess Peter is what we are looking for...

Isn't that what I said?....lol..... Very Happy

I'm thinking along the lines of:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it_morph...

But that's more like trying to fit the answer to the puzzle....lol....not to mention all the letters don't match

Yeah, but you still seemed to hesitate between...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pushkin, Peter and the Bronze horseman... but obviously you got it right...

Another thing:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the pic of the black sea was taken from a pic detailing Jason's voyage...

BTW.....great job on the others. I couldn't find the Roadside Picnic quote nor the setting for Bittersweet Rain.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe number one is "ACROSS" or "A CROSS" (as in 11D(own)/Crossword)

Thanks

Thanks... for roadside, i googled:
"conquered the planet and opened a window"
gave a single hit...
as for Bittersweet Rain, i had to read the first chapter available online to get it's locale.

Found something else:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
for 11D, i found a link between it and Christ:
http://www.mnemosyne.org/mia/iconclass/11D/
Seems odd, but the system has been in use for quite some time to classify art see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iconclass for more info.

So maybe Christ is the answer?

Hmmm Across, it had crossed my mind (pun intended) seems likely too...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So conceivably it could start with "AT", which flows okay with "But_all_attempts_are_futile".

Could end with "UP" (Universe/Peter).

But what are the "for i only" linkies?

By the way, that iconclass link makes a lot of sense. I don't think the number/letter combo would be random now that I see that.

Maybe:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It starts with "IT"
I for iconclass and T for.....well ....T
