 		John Baxter Refresher Course
For those of us who are not familiar with John Baxter from Acheron:

1. Nicknames "reggie" "hexeditor"

2. Had a split personality induced by some combinations of drugs administered while he was in the hospital {this is a long story, just trust me on this one}

3. Brilliant programmer with a specialty in security systems

4. Sense of humor, does magic tricks, plays chess [ play chess with Turk and other puzzles involving chess were part of Acheron] and likes movies

5. Company called cipher-systems

6. Ended up married to Meg in the second timeline after Jake (her husband in the first and second timlines and father of the devil baby ). appeared to have escaped only to have really been captured/ killed by our man Caretaker, former CIA agent.

Personal Note: I love this guy. And I hope Meg somehow didn't make it to this timeline with him. Smile

 		Since we have a possible contact for hexeditor as the moderator on the new immersionunlimited board do you think it would be acceptable to PM him and see if it the one and same?

Perhaps someone who knows his history a little better maybe able to do this without raising to much suspicion. In either case it would useful to clear up whether or not these references to previous args are just 'Easter eggs' or something more significant Shocked

Good idea. Is the name just being used as a nod to other ARG's or is this character the same Reggie?

Put yourself in his shoes:
Might be a little shock if you get a PM from a stranger who claims to know all this stuff about your background.
But wouldn't hurt to strike up a conversation and see if any of the same personality traits exist (i.e. does he like to play chess in Yahoo games?)

That's why I thought someone who knows the character better might be the right person to do this. They would know what kind of hints to drop into converstion to see if he bites rather than the "Hey! Arn't you that guy who used to hang out with Jake Starkey approach." Since I knew I wasn't the person to do this I thought I would post it as a suggestion instead Wink Smile

 		Acoording to his Imersion Unlimited profile, Reggie has a YIM account and e-mail contact listed.
