 		Possible Twin Peaks trail head?
Hey guys, I haven't been on here in years, but I though if anyone could help find out if this is a possible ARG, it's you guys.

In the latest episode of Twin Peaks (S3E08) an eerie poem is recited several times during the end sequence of the episode:

"This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full, and ascend.
The horse is the white of the eyes, and dark within."

A user on Reddit found the only exact google searches returned for the poem are from a website http://commercialsihate.com/, as lines of text at the bottom of every page, embedded in the html which when compared to older caches of the site appeared within a few weeks before the episode aired. A WhoIs of the site shows that the owner has masked their identity and there's no other clue to follow that anyone has seemed to found.

The biggest mystery is why the site knew this poem before the episode aired. What connection, if any, could the forum have with this Twin Peaks episode?

A google search leads to this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vor65mNB8Uk (David Lynch's ad for a cigarretes brand)

There're you can see this sentence twice in the comments made by 2 users both 8 hours ago (atm)

Just to put it in context: The ad is legit and it belongs to an TV advertising campaign named "Parisien People" for Parisien cigarretes (a Brand from Switzerland). The ad aired in 1988 and it was part of a series featuring famous directors as Jean-Luc Godard, David Lynch, Giuseppe Tornatore et al.

This Youtube video is near the top of the Twin Peaks subreddit, as the gas station and some of the visual effects are very similar to that in the latest episode, anyone who's commented on the video in the last 24 hours or so has likely seen the episode and is just making the reference. Although it seems oddly coincidental that a commercial that Lynch directed is heavily referenced in Twin Peaks, and a week or two before hand the poem featured in the episode appeared on CommecialsIHate.com, with no other indication of it existing before that.

Oh and throughout the same sequence leading up to the poem recital the character is going around asking people "Got a light?" as in he wants to light his cigarette, which is another nod to the commercial.

Tenuous and circumstantial links, but it seems like a good possibility that there's more, considering Lynch doesn't just do things for the hell of it.

Just FYI: The visitor counter is not reliable. Sunday night it was in the couple thousand range, last night it was down at 200, now it is back up to "77204"

If they decided to make it a countdown, it's an afterthought.

David Lynch is really into transcendental meditation. I wonder if this page is related to that in any way.

 		There's a guy in the twin peaks Facebook group who has been recieving mysterious postcards, and coordinates. You have to join the group to see the thread.

I am incredibly cynical and doubtful that *one*single*person* is getting game clues. This is more likely either a game jack, or someone fucking with this person.
