Melody's comment on Thad/Elias

This was posted this afternoon in IU

I had asked Marcus what was going on with Elias/Thad, and he responded with

I am going to go way out on a limb here and suggest that maybe we need to talk to Thad before we assume he has no respect for us.

You know him much better than I do, of course, but he has always treated us with concern as well as respect. I think he may have an explanation for his actions. And he has earned enough goodwill for me, and I would urge you, to at least listen to what he has to say.

The last time I chatted with him he reminded me that he was my friend no matter what happens. Shall we give him a chance?
