 		Long chat with Melody- she will stay away from Thad
I got to talk to melody for a long time last night. Her intellIM shows her offline even when she is available. She thinks it's a miranda problem. She will pm someone to put up a message when she is available.

the summary:

1. I started off neutral to find out what happened.

2. Thad slapped her as they argued and bruised her check.

3. She says Thad has abused her emotionally and physically.

4. I flat out told her to not see him.

5. We talked about stuff relating to abuse and her alternatives.

6. I suggested she write an article about abuse for the paper -trying to help her use her strengths to deal with it.

7. She's getting her uncle's dog to stay with her. And we talked about what she should do if Thad won't respect her wishes to be left alone.

 		got the dog
I too spoke with Melody and had the same relativly neutral convo. but she did get the dog to stay with her
