I hope the only people arguing about the use of the word 'himmel' in Germany are people who actually LIVE in Germany. :/

Before this thread is jacked beyond all hope, let's get back to discussing the <o> pictures.

I can imagine three categories for images:
  • places where Rambaldi himself left behind a symbol marker (not bloody likely)
  • places where nature just happened to create shapes which look like our symbol (illusions in tree branches, for example, or the face of Jesus on a tortilla)
  • staged pictures which show activities of the modern followers of Rambaldi

Should we start staging outbreaks of Rambaldi sightings? Or might it be fun to artificially create some of category two, "accidental" occurances of the symbol?

Discuss.

Start a new thread, now that we have our own forum, if you'd like.

<O>

If you think about it, there is an alcohol out by bicardi with the O symbol. Maybe in one of their marketing things we could find the <O> symbol. Also on this link, look at the top http://sd-1.net/index.php?showtopic=33541 It shows the symbol we are looking for.

I'm gonna do some silly things to send it in. Like a pic of my ipod (if you look closely the forward and backward buttons (<< and >>) make a <0> with the inner circle, and I'm going to carve a <0> into a tree in my back yard to make it look like it was a trail guide.

Also, what if we included <0> from Alias, could we do that?

I'm in! Omni-woot. Razz More on this later...

First mission seems very Neurocam-my.

Is there a puzzle in the audio? Or is it just... um. Flavor? I'm ripping it right now, then I'll do the ol' flip it and reverse it stuff. You know. The usual.

Fortunately, i'm under 80 years of age and am thus ineligible for the Clinical Trials. They also have a jobs sign-up form, but luckily I am starting a real job on Monday.

This *sooo* reminds me of the episode on Alias a few weeks back
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
in which Arvin Sloane beats a man to death for thinking the Rambaldi legacy was going to give him immortality.
(spoilered for people who might be catching up with this season later.)

So there ya go.

Also, a question - am I going to be lost in this because I don't watch Alias? This trail is really intriguing to me, but I don't want to find out that I can't contribute if I don't watch the show...

Message received from operator

Hey everyone, newb here. I recently received a letter from the operator.
Spoilering it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

RE: Misc. Reports

Operative:

Omnifam appreciates your effort and diligence on OP101A. We have investigated your report. A detailed analysis of your evidence suggests that this is probably not related to Milo Rambaldi in any way.

Characteristically, the Rambaldi symbol is comprised of three discrete elements. Please continue your investigation and alert us to additional potential sightings.

This was in regards to some silly images that could or could not be construed as true sightings. i also received this message

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

RE: College Ave Rambaldi Church

I am not sure where to go from here. I am looking stuff up on Methusalabs and I did sign up for clinical trials. We shall see if anything comes from that.

Karl, did you post the pic on the home page of the joeyspizza group? lol

I sent an email with a 'sighting' I found in a piece of art by Angelo Rambaldi. Spooky. At the end I added a ps asking for the email addresses for Benjamin Simpson and Michael Keller, the two men referenced in the message 47 I found.

Also, there is a messaging system where you enter the message ID number to retrieve the message. I decided to try 47 and got this

I've also tried entering in the Message ID's from the "omnifam" emails I've received (and that have been posted by others here) and it returns the text from those messages.
