The Mystery of the Three Hares

Now, I normally have a very strict policy of not watching any day-time TV, however I was round at a mates house yesterday and happened to catch this story on one of the UK's more notorious chat shows (not mentioning any names to save my blushes, but let's just say it's on C4 in the later afternoon...)

I thought it would interest you guys, and although it has nothing to do with ARG's it's not exactly timewasting either, so I decided to put it here.

I will tell it very briefly, since there is loads more info on these links and from Google.

It has been discovered that a religious symbol composed of three hares/rabbits in a triangle, with a smaller triangle being formed by their ears, exists in several of the major religions, in totally different countries, and over 1000 years apart. It has been seen in medieval chapels in England, 13th century metal work from Iran, as well as in China around 600ac.

A [British] team has been set up to travel to China to being to understand the significance of the symbol, and how it got to be so widespread.
