Interesting. Looks to be the homepage of a movie entitled I, Robot. I would guess it's based on the books of the same name by Isaac Asimov.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0343818/
Lots of interesting things in the source code, if anyone is looking. It's well commented, which usualy isn't the case. I have never seen javascript so commented, but looks to be genric programmer notes. Don't have time to study it much now, I'm afraid.

Interesting Interesting... Several things on the website are directly from the book, including the positronic brain and the "3 laws safe" system:
Quote:
1.) A robot may not injure a human being, or through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2.) A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3.) A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First and Second Laws.

I understand the Ns-5.com, but having never read the book can anyone elaborate on the Menofhonor.com moniker?

Per Snopes, this is a link to IRobotnow's parent company ... what does it have to do with Cloudmakers?
http://www.cybertronics-corp.cloudmakers.org/
Edited: Never mind, I believe the Snopesters were wrong, and cybertronics is a Beast holdover.

Your edit is absolutely correct. This has absolutely nothing to do with I Robot Now.

There is now an official movie site at www.irobotmovie.com It has some kind of flash puzzle to solve which is supposed to lead to more information (I'm guessing pictures of the movie)
There is an unobtrusive link on one of the news pages leading to www.NS-5.com As far as I can remember, this has had signifcant updates from the original version.

ooh! ooh!
Yes, Will Smith's sci fi thriller this summer is I,Robot. Have you seen the related car ads? (Was it Audi?)
Not really a game or puzzle itself - it has a program that encourages you to go to several places within the I,Robot site after which it announces you have "solved" something and opens some locked files (actually some movie concept art for download as wallpaper). Try the Asimov trivia test! There are also some java games that are OK.

I got 88% on the novice test but only 64% on the expert. I'm so ashamed.
Also, I'm really looking forward to this movie, but some of that involves looking forward to complaining about it afterwards (if necessary, of course), so this should be interesting.

Hmm I got a 100% on both levels ... and also, the question "Who invented the humaniform robot?" doesn't give you the correct possibility to choose, because that should be Roj Nemmenuh Sarton, who devised the original blueprints. Han Fastolfe just built it...
Umm... so there...

The true / false question about mind reading robots was a bit iffy too. Since some but not all robots can do this. Wouldn't you agree Giskard.

I had no trouble answering "true" on that question, but maybe that's just self-reflection
Anyway, yes you're right. The test is a little like I'm thinking the movie will be: not entirely like the real thing, which, imho, is a missed opportunity

I agree. From what I can tell the plot has something to do with a robot which isn't bound by or manages to break the three laws, though I could be wrong. As I understand it Asimov's whole motivation in founding the three laws was an attempt to get away from the Frankenstein's monster stories in which the machine turn on us.
If they really had to do a law free robot film I would have preferred it if they'd used something like Caliban as their model.
P.S. Just don't get me started on Susan Calvin as an action hero!
