[thisisnotanarg] we don't need no stinkin' rabbit holes! Pssst, people. One of your erstwhile Mu PMs out there is feeling sort of irritable that people aren't paying more attention to the goings-on at their blog.
(And no, it ain't me.)
If you're lookin' for something to pass the time and all....I'm just sayin'.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
since the source code at the front page of glitterbook has this in it:
<!-- Oh, like this was so hard to find. thisisnotanarg, y'all. -->
I took that to mean www.glitterbook.com/thisisnotanarg
Which is where some of us are currently stuck.

So, it's not just me that's stuck. I'm so out of practice I just figured I was stupid.
I need to get one of those whistler/clapper/locator thingies, I can never find a key when I need one.

Analyzing the letters used in the cipher, those of us in IRC guessed it was Vigenere. Sapagoo checked the index of coincidence on the code and found that the key was likely 12 letters. After consulting a dictionary and trying likely candidates by hand, one word that seemed to closely match the text and picture came up with an interesting result.

In the lower-right corner is "purgation"
This just happens to be the key for this cipher.
