Thanks, Wishi! I never really knew how those list things worked either (maybe I should add something about the [*] in the tooltip).

Bug, or feature? It's so hard to tell these days.
Sometimes when I refresh the board it collapses the subsections like in this Word doc.

Well, it'd come in handy for a post like
[You] Caught Naked in Co-Ed Raid!
[You]'s head would explode
I think it's a great gag on [you].

Feature. Take a look at the URL in your image; if you pass a "c=<x>" parameter in the GET for the index.php page, it'll collapse all of the categories except the one you've chosen. In your case, it was set to display Category 4, which is the Games, Rumors & Diversions Category.

So I must have accidentally clicked the section header instead of the individual forum within that section.

Wolf, I think maybe some of us got set that way when the forum got upgraded, because my view is like that now, and I know I hadn't changed my settings at all.

[you] goes away on vacation for a weekend and comes back only to find fancy clicky buttons as well as the fact that everyone here has already seen the pictures of the neked co-ed wedding.
[you] finds this bizarre and rather disappointing. Another story already told.

Probably a good idea SB.
I'm surprised no one's wanted to use lists with amount of information we always list around here!

Hey [you]! Yes, [you]!
[you] lookin' at me?
[you] lookin' at me?
(I can't believe how stupid this is)

I've always resorted to just typing them out when I made a list.
1. first item
2. second item
etc. Didn't know there was a feature that did it for you (would probably take longer to figure it out than to just type it).

Hard to tell if it is really directed at [you] or at yourself.
Talk about making a person paranoid. The whole first page of this thread I kept wondering why everyone was picking on me. Instead, they are picking on [you].

I'm sure [you] was getting a bit of a complex by mid-way through this thread, and then I realized the simple truth of it all.....
[you] is just so damn cool....

So I don't know if I'm so popular, hated, scorned, ridiculed, or - yes - just too kewl for words.
/me votes for the kewl factor.
But maybe that is the egoist inside of me.

best use i can think of is to attract people to reading "read me threads" like
[you], read this first:
except i don't think it works for thread titles
