UBER META: Open Letter from the Aware PM team

We, all of the AWARE PMs, would like to take the chance to write a few of our thoughts down, to sort a few matters out and to try and settle any feuds that have been going on. Even the best families have disagreements, without an argument souring the relationship, we hope that is the case here.

We had and still have one aim while running AWARE, to make it an interesting experience and something which perhaps moved into new territory for ARGs. Obviously it's caused a lot of lively discussion (We are sure you'll get what we mean here) and things have been said which weren't meant or were expressed or perceived in the wrong way.

We hope that everyone understands what we're trying to do here. We don't want to argue and the endless bickering has given us headaches within our own camp as well as in public. There have been mistakes on our end, as well as some incidents that weren't exactly supposed to happen which may have colored some people's perceptions of us.

We're attempting to turn over a new leaf here. No, the game isn't going to change in the way it plays out, but we'd like for you all to forget what you may have read previously. As difficult as that is, we still would like your help in making this game the best it can be. All we're asking, as a group, is that you give the game a chance to blossom into its initial promise.

This won't convince all of you I'm sure, but if it does, then join in and have some fun, you might have guessed that most of us are first time PMs, learning fast, but willing and dedicated to the game. We hope that you will be willing to assist in seeing that we get the best education around and allow us the chance to improve our final grade.

And now we're all going to step back behind the curtain. The next time we speak will be post game. And if you give us a chance I'm sure that it'll be in better circumstances than this.
