The Fair will be held from August 6 through 15th this year. There are lots of events planned.
This years entertainment include REO Speedwagon, John Michael Montgomery, Dierks Bently, Tracy Lawrence, Creedence Clearwater Revival, OMSI Science Fair, Pig Racing, Master Hypnotist Mark Yuzuik, Brad's World Reptiles, Monster Trucks, Extreme "Big Air" Motorcycle Racing, the Northwest Bull Riding Championship, and of course the Children's Mutton Bustin' competition. There will also be lots of baby contests, a Cheesecake Cook Off, Cheese Making contest, and plenty of Livestock shows for everyone. There will also be lots of events for the Equestrian in you at the Arena with events going on all day, every day of the fair. The Midway will be open from Noon to Closing, except on the opening day when it will be open from 9 am until Closing.

You will also be able to see the walls going up on the new Exhibition Hall, which is scheduled to be completed March of 2005 and will be the size of two football fields.

This year's fair Queen is Jessica Crouch, who was crowned on May 24. She and her court rode in both the Amboy Territorial Days parade and the Battle Ground Harvest Days parade where they won the Most Outstanding Mounted Group Award. The Court also appeared at the Columbia County Rodeo and the LaCenter Parade. Other Events include the AM Northwest TV Show on July 26, Car Show/Raffle at Pearson Air Field on July 28 and a Radio interview with 99.5 The Wolf, which will be announced, and they will also be at the Clark County Fair August 6th to the 15th. If you would like the court to participate in your event, please contact Staci Shoemaker, Clark County Fair Court Advisor.

The Clark County Fairgrounds are only 9 miles north of Portland, Oregon, on Interstate 5. More information on the Fair can be found at it's web site: http://www.clarkcofair.com/
