So, who got one in Bellevue and Seattle??

Bellevue is basically Redmond, btw.

EGM SHawn just posted re his honey - their offices are in San Francisco. So he does not account for either of the other two packages identified. (And they didn't save it so no pics no tracking info.) He notes that Bungie is in Bellevue, although if this is a part-Bungie game why would they get the honey...

Shawn also provided this link, thinking the pics there might be another recipient. But it's just a forum where people lift stuff freely and don't always credit their sources. The pics are of Steve's honey.

Note they freely lifted UF's hard work on the Queen story too.

We also know that Uke's friend got a package of honey, tho I dont know if it was sent fedex or where he lives. But its quite possible he's one of the leftover addresses.

Looks like they tried to send you one, Spacely. Sad

Actually, I got one. I'm surprised as all heck that I'm even included in this one. I usually just fall behind.

Same thing as everyone else. Nothing much different. Wondering what it all means. I guess I should be flattered. Smile

For the sake of a complete record, please post pix of your airbill, honey bottle and letters.

I would if I could, but my webcam is currently broke. Once I get it fixed, I'll post it up.

Well, at least tell us where you are (city) and spec why you got one - why could they reliably find your mailing address and assume you'd understand it was an ARG hint?

Sorry. Thought it was ovious. Smile

I'm from Portland, OR. I thought that package tracked was mine, but I guess it was Space Bass's.

As for why I got one.. I honestly don't know. The only think I'm known for in the ARG arena is that I've been a PM in a game and that I tend to push the boundries of the games I'm in.

As for my address, I dunno. I'm sure it's out there, but I don't know where. *shrugs* I don't even own an XBox.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

*sigh* Rolling Eyes

The Portland, OR, package was meant for me. If you check the FedEx tracking info, and click the "view signature" option, it'll show the address to which the package was delivered. That address was mine about 3 moves ago but I never updated my WHOIS info for unfiction. You can double-check me by looking at the WHOIS for max15degrees.com (or, since that record was recently updated, check max15degrees.net or .org).

I've PM'd Lance_Lake about this; here was his reply:

I do it because of the following reasons..

1) It's harmless to say I got a pot as well.
2) I'm not breaking any ToS.
3) If I don't forcibily insert myself into a game, I tend to hit dead ends when I try to get involved.
4) If you want to ban me because I told someone that I got a pot when it has no bearing as to who did, then go ahead.
5) I want to be involved. Seeing as how I don't do well with puzzles at all, how do I do so without having somekind of hook into the game?

I'm sorry I upset you by saying that I got a pot. Yes. You are the only person deserving of such an honor.

They will eventually figure it out and I'll be ousted from the group again. To be honest, I'd rather have my 5 mins. of fame in this game and be ousted then to sit on the sidelines watching you all have fun again.

Make of this what you will.

I will suggest that no claims by anyone to have received packages should be lent any weight until they manage to come up with some proof of their claim, rather than excuses. Attempting to hijack a game is pathetic.

I never attempted to "hijack" the game. I've only did that once (and was shown the error of my ways).

Sorry to have upset anyone with my claim. I'll watch while you puzzle people solve the beast from the sidelines.

Regarding the packages...

From what I have found, Margaret's Honey sent out (at least) 7 packages by FedEx. The destinations were as follows:

Austin, TX - delivered, but unknown
Las Vegas, NV - confirmed delivery to vpisteve
Portland, OR - intended for SpaceBass
Bellevue, WA - delivered, but unknown
New York, NY - delivered, but unknown
Seattle, WA - delivered, but unknown
Tampa, FL - confirmed delivery to Bill

All of the packages were delivered since they were shipped with a signature release waiver (meaning no signature was required) but as we know, at least one of them did not reach their intended recipient.

So there (obviously) was never anything intended for Lance_Lake; and if anyone else outside of this list thinks it might be fun to get "involved" by claiming they got honey without any proof... think twice.

As Space said, it's pathetic, and a completely lame excuse since there are over 100 people currently "involved" in the game by participating in chat and many others posting information/questions/spec/etc. to the multiple forums that are discussing the game. If you are truly looking to participate in a game, then participate, don't spread misinformation just because it gets your rocks off.

I would assume the Austin package was for Collective Detective. Maybe the NYT reporter got the NYC one?
