Somewhat OT, sorry:
I never thought about this before, but now it's going to keep bothering me: what did Microsoft have to do with AI/Warner Bros., anyway? Is there some connection, or was it just hired to make the game?
(also, this is starting to look kind of insanely cool, so of course I'm going to be on vacation when the countdown gets done. Darn it.)

<really lame early spec, assuming this has anything to do with Halo 2 at all >
This thing, whatever has 'infected' the ilovebees website, is a precursor of the Flood and Covenant species. We're in the past, and Halo and Halo 2 are the future. It's possible this game is a historical perspective of how the humans end up needing to wipe out the very thing they created. Or something like that. I'm thinkin' since it might have something to do with bees, that there's some sort of cyborg element - the A.I. entity is picking up information, or is starting to resemble, a gigantor apiary, and ... yeah.
I dunno. It was just a thought I had earlier today.

Can anyone get a good screen capture off it this time?

My screen capture was taken directly from it and just filtered so it's readable.

Has anyone read any of the Halo tie-on novels? If so, any potential cross-overs?

I'm going with krystyn abd guessing that Ilovebees is part of the prehistory to the Halo story.
This spec is based totally on the following text from this game trailer.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Neutralize adaptive parasitic Lifeform
> Complete
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Outwit ancient AI construct
>Complete

Man, when I ran a store we couldn't give those novels away. I wonder if the store still has any? They were down to 4.99 or something when I left, I'll check this weekend if they have any and I'll pick one up.

Hmmm, I guess I should spend the day replaying Halo to see if there are any clues that support this?

D'oh! Funny Krystyn... I had the exact same thought (or close to it) when I woke up this morning...
I think what tipped me off is the SERE stuff... even though it's kinda confused (reveal instead of resist, etc). Early spec also had the Mayday messages coming from a soldier of some sort (perhaps the Master Sergeant?).
BTW, I tried explaining this all to the (non-ARGing) spouse this morning, and stated that "this could be a good reason to get an XBox"... and it didn't fly

The blue text in some of the clips:
You killed Truth
You killed Regret i
John killed pity
probably meaningless, but interesting.

Finally we have a high-res trailer of Halo 2. Thanks to the Halo 2 guy that showed up in #ilovebees today (beginning to be glad of 2nd room now).

You can definitly see the www.ilovebees.com now. And now everyone who hasn't seen the trailer in the theatres yet have no more reason to be skeptical.
/me happily concedes.

Ditto.
Although, I still have no FREAKING clue what the freaking demographic is, or how it could possibly tie into Halo 2, despite my lame-o spec.

Maybe it's got nothing to do with Halo2 itself, but rather is an Xbox/Microsoft sponsored ARG and they are piggybacking of the big Halo2 previews to get people interested--the demographic probably being young gamers?

Well if what the Halo-ers are saying in chat is true, it could definitely be connected. The prestory to some AI in one of Bungie's games.
Cortana is AI and someone called Durandal, who to quote someone from #beekeepers "his ultimate dream was to escape the closure of the universe and in trying to achieve that goal, he went rampant or the other way round" "and he had no qualms about squashing anything preventing him from doing such"
