Most FTP servers can be configured to hide any files in a certain directory. This is very often turned on for "incoming" type directories. Hence, there may be files there that you can't see, but if you know the filename you can download them.

your second M looks like an H to me. which gives us MUCH HELPS, HELPS MUCH. also, doesn't the 'bloody hands' CMH picture seem relevant here? http://www.cambridgementalhospital.com/bloodyhands.html

Dunno if it's a lead but on http://www.cambridgementalhospital.com/headstone.html I could read "Hier ruhet August" which is German for "Here rests August"
A tombstone...

FTP site incoming folder

First newb post... I tried uploading a file "test.txt", contents "test.txt" to the incoming folder, and the folder still looks empty. It informed me "Anonymous users may not overwrite existing files", but it allowed the upload, and the put succeeded. After that, I still can't see any files in the directory, and can't get test.txt by name. It looks like if anything showed up there as it's configured now, only the site operator would know about it.

Let's not hack game sites without a good reason. Right now, there's no compelling need for us to have access to dreamprojector.com.

I don't think this was mentioned, but it's pretty obvious - the letters CMH are definitely included here, and in order, too. It's likely that that is not coincidence. Also, if the second M is actually an H, you could have an anagram such as HELP US CMH, or CMH HELP US, etc.

I'm seeing:
P

S

U

C

M

H

H

E

L

Which definitely fits with the 'Help Us CMH' thing. I'm thinking the lines at the end could be the last efforts of getting at the wall or even '!!!!'

I just stumbled across another connection between DP and CMH.

Reading the good doctor's bio found here:

http://www.dreamprojector.com/doctor.htm

reveals that he received his BS in Psychology in 1961 from the University of Minnesota. More importantly, it lists this:

Residency, Clinical Psychology, University of Minnesota, 1971

A tie to Cambridge Mental Hospital? It's certainly implied...especially considering there's strong evidence tying a number of recorded dreams to CMH directly.

His professional affiliations also show a strong leaning towards electroshock and brain research.

It could be the same site. But I am not quite sure. If you compare the rusty lid frames that surround both holes, you notice that both the one on the Cambridge site and DRP ID 2003 00353 has had similar joints. There is however grass surrounding the hole in DRP ID 2003 00353, which isn't present in the hospital image. This indicates that both are entries to the same service system, which possibly is located in the same area. I didn't find any grafitti that matched, both look like your run-of-the-mill modern ruins.

Those are gonna be the steam tunnels, created in red lines on the map. they were used to transport folks when the weather was bad. (I crawled through the ones at my college one cold winter evening with some friends. Found a nice little hideaway with magazine and chairs where we presume the maintenance folk kept themselves hidden away instead of working.)

Here's the hospital map for reference. Can we presume that the opening without a building around it might be the opening at the map site labelled "proposed?"

What is this that's getting tossed out the window? Doesn't look human. More like a desk or something?
