Dunno if it's a lead but on http://www.cambridgementalhospital.com/headstone.html I could read "Hier ruhet August" which is German for "Here rests August"
A tombstone...

FTP site incoming folder

First newb post... I tried uploading a file "test.txt", contents "test.txt" to the incoming folder, and the folder still looks empty. It informed me "Anonymous users may not overwrite existing files", but it allowed the upload, and the put succeeded. After that, I still can't see any files in the directory, and can't get test.txt by name. It looks like if anything showed up there as it's configured now, only the site operator would know about it.

Let's not hack game sites without a good reason. Right now, there's no compelling need for us to have access to dreamprojector.com.

H - this one isn't shown being drawn
M - could possibly be an N or H also
E

Any ideas?

your second M looks like an H to me. which gives us MUCH HELPS, HELPS MUCH. also, doesn't the 'bloody hands' CMH picture seem relevant here? http://www.cambridgementalhospital.com/bloodyhands.html

I don't think this was mentioned, but it's pretty obvious - the letters CMH are definitely included here, and in order, too. It's likely that that is not coincidence. Also, if the second M is actually an H, you could have an anagram such as HELP US CMH, or CMH HELP US, etc.

I'm seeing:
P

S

U

C

M

H

H

E

L

Which definitely fits with the 'Help Us CMH' thing. I'm thinking the lines at the end could be the last efforts of getting at the wall or even '!!!!'

I just stumbled across another connection between DP and CMH.

Reading the good doctor's bio found here:

http://www.dreamprojector.com/doctor.htm

reveals that he received his BS in Psychology in 1961 from the University of Minnesota. More importantly, it lists this:

Residency, Clinical Psychology, University of Minnesota, 1971

A tie to Cambridge Mental Hospital? It's certainly implied...especially considering there's strong evidence tying a number of recorded dreams to CMH directly.

His professional affiliations also show a strong leaning towards electroshock and brain research.

It could be the same site. But I am not quite sure. If you compare the rusty lid frames that surround both holes, you notice that both the one on the Cambridge site and DRP ID 2003 00353 has had similar joints. There is however grass surrounding the hole in DRP ID 2003 00353, which isn't present in the hospital image. This indicates that both are entries to the same service system, which possibly is located in the same area. I didn't find any grafitti that matched, both look like your run-of-the-mill modern ruins.

Those are gonna be the steam tunnels, created in red lines on the map. they were used to transport folks when the weather was bad. (I crawled through the ones at my college one cold winter evening with some friends. Found a nice little hideaway with magazine and chairs where we presume the maintenance folk kept themselves hidden away instead of working.)

Here's the hospital map for reference. Can we presume that the opening without a building around it might be the opening at the map site labelled "proposed?"

What is this that's getting tossed out the window? Doesn't look human. More like a desk or something?

Er, hi. (First time actually here, got really interested in the ilovebees thing, but then started looking at this... wow.)

When I saw the IIII lines, I thought 4 too, and there's an "opening" according to the Ward B list in bed #4.
(I also look at the letters and thing "PSU" (Please Save Us?) "CMH" (Obvious) and "MEL" (Michael, Edward, and Lawence, also as on the ward list?)

I hope I'm not covering something someone else has already thought of.

umm a first post,

I don't know if this has been mentioned (at least I dont think so) but regarding Brad C.'s dream (the one with a lot of colors), if you goto the Tomorrow's Talk website and hover your mouse over "contact" link, the picture on the left has a screen with a color pattern that matches the one in the dream (blue, green, red but reverse order). It's pretty weak and reveals nothing but an unsubstantial connection to Tomorrow's Talk, however.

In dream 2003_00353 (William S), at one point, it appears that an object is being thrown out of a window. See attached images for screen captures of those frames.

Spec:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looks like a chair, but what's the part at the top of the back? Some sort of restraint, to go around the neck or throat? It looks a bit like images of garroting chairs, or electric chairs.

Further spec:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
XyzzySqrl, Dishboy, Karmic_Crimewave and I discussed this in chat... could it be that the circular distortion throughout this dream is meant to represent the fact that it's being viewed through a camera lens, as it might be if it were the dream of a Dread House contestant? And if so, could it be that this person is running from someone (or something) inside which is coming after him, and which has thrown this chair-like item in an attempt either to attack him or to break out the window to come through?

Regarding the object itself - it looks like it could be some sort of torture or restraining device - could it be that this is one of the DH props, since per the Dread House expose site, the show was meant to include (faked) deaths of contestants dying in ways to reflect some of the atrocities that actually took place in CMH?

Creepy but interesting... anyone else have thoughts?

As she described in text description 2003-00246 689306, flames (fire), marching band, and electricity.

I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned this yet, but just before the flames turn into the marching band, it LOOKS like there's words scrolling across the screen.

At least I think there are.
