 		Repeating myself - but from the text where "she" is trying to talk -
"No. Tongue cut out. (Can't remember her name either.) I love bees. Find myself longing to speak again: words like stones or rain. Better made physical."

Possible(probable?) that the new wavs are "her" attempts at talking?

It's voices saying "I love bees," laid over the original sound files.

So I think we're hearing the voice of Melissa...

Doesn't seem to be a puzzle though.

sounds like she's running through different voices trying to find one that fits... anyone remember the old text -> speech on the first powermac, you could choose from among a bunch of different voices? yeah... like that

what html is that played on?

nobody has seemed to mention http://www.ilovebees.com/opening-mouth.wav so I am... it's from http://www.ilovebees.com/comatas.html but the file changes around between the queen-piping file and this one. Also the file sounds different if I listen to it from my link and from the page. The direct link is much clearer (I love bees) and the page one is really odd more like help me, maybe just my ears. any way you may have to refresh a few time to get it.
