Rooster (apart from meaning "grating") translates to "schedule" (or even "roster").
My take on this is that someone with webaccess at UvA did this as a little prank.

"Rooster"
Probably trout... or possible link to Red vs. Blue.

Red vs. Blue is a webtoon series produced by "Rooster Teeth Productions".
The Red vs. Blue series has been included and featured as part of the dealer demo discs provided by Microsoft to various retailers.

I'm glad you agree with me... I should be ashamed of not knowing my own language otherwise
The original poster turns out to be Dutch as well, and did not explain himself beyond some mysterious muttering in an Immersion Unlimited IRC channel (of which noone seems to have a log).
Because of the reference and URL that are included to ilovebees.com, I think this was a simple copy/paste from the original, placed at the UvA site as a prank.

Yeah. Seems more likely someone horked a copy of the countdown from the game and put it on the university's main website. Hope they covered their tracks, cuz that can get you fired. And the PMs pissed at you too.
How'd you find it, Mos?

So email their AI department and ask them why it is there. My vote is that someone is having a bit of fun... the puppet masters Normally don't drag real websites into these things due to the dangers of the rabid players getting paranoid and seeking out those who have nothing to do with the game at all.
Of course, it could be part of the game and the PMs are just wanting to have fun... but who knows, guess we'll see soon enough.
EDIT: Also, note that the code for that counter is a direct cut'n'paste from the ILoveBees site. It even has the 'var chinatime' and the same javascript code. Out of curiosity, what does that link translate to in English?

I don't know dutch, but it probably translates to something like 'Program Studies', or more specifically, something about AI.
I think it's also a hoax, but not just because the code is a C&P. On ilovebees.com, the program put up the display over content that's already there. The page on UvA that has the display has no content besides the normal template and the display. If it was supposed to be in-game, it should have some sort of content behind it. Thus, hoax.

Until proven otherwise, I'll relabel this thread, in the hopes that the truth will be revealed in a short while.
