[SOLVED] Fears/Phobias on Amazing Grace

We found pop-ups on Amazing Grace with pictures. We found each corresponded to a fear. More later.

[Edit: clarified the topic - kona]

Just to give a little credit here, in IRC, enaxor let us know there were new popups. After looking at the images, and doing some google searching on the words muro, taphe, paedo, I had realized the images were dealing with phobias. Then kevdude, justlurking, and myself looked up the phobias and compiled the list...

Edit: Clarifying how I realized they were phobias[/i]

I noticed that the popups come up in a specific order (I checked twice). The order is:

10.jpg, 4.jpg, 5.jpg in the first group
2
3
14
15
6
7
8
9
11
12
13
16
17

Taking first letter of the phobias in this order doesn't yield anything either...

Leaving off the MTP (from the 3 on the first page) you get the following anagrams (using Agyrophobia for 14.jpg):

MELOPHOBIA MAC
MELOPHOBIA CAM

Melophobia - Fear or hatred of music

I thought that the Greek words that these were derived from might be useful although I've not figured anything out myself from it. I don't think some of them are "real" phobias and so I couldn't find a Greek base for some.

Murophobia could also be Musophobia.

Code:
2  Ommatophobia  - omma: eye
3  Cyberphobia   - kybernao/cyber: guide/steer
4  Taphephobia   - taphe: burial
5  Paedophobia   - paidion: child
6  Achluophobia  - ?
7  Iatrophobia   - iatro: physician
8  Batophobia    - batos: passable (bainein: go, see)
9  Metallophobia - metallon(?): metal
10 Murophobia    - ?
11 Pupaphobia    - ?
12 Ligyrophobia  - ? / Anthophobia - anthos: flower
13 Emetophobia   - emetos: vomiting
14 Agyrophobia   - gyrus: turn/whirl (agyrus: not turn/whirl)
15 Hierophobia   - hieros: holy
16 Mythophobia   - mythos: myth
17 Ornithophobia - ornithos: bird

I think #12 should be Anthrophobia or Anthophobia.

The picture looks more like a flower than fireworks to me, but that may be simply because of the resolution.

That's a good point, it looks more like flowers to me too.

Putting them into Grumpyboy's order of appearence (and trying to make sense of stuff in my own head, using darkphans initial idea of phobias):

Initial group:
Muro (mice), Taphe (burial), Paedo (child)
Omma (eye)
Cyber - Kybernao (computer, guide/steer)
??? (I'm not sure of this one, could just be "stop", or "Don't walk")
Hiero (holy, priest)
Lygo (darkness)
Iatro (physician)
Bato (heights)
Metallo (metal)
Pupa (puppets)
Antho (flower)
Emeto (vomiting)
Mytho (myth)
Ornitho (bird)

Here is a phobia list.
I found a different one for darkness (putting the L back in the list when we changed firewords/loud noise to flowers).

Fear of walking = Basophobia, Ambulophobia
Fear of crossing streets = Dromophobia

MTP OC_HLIBMPAEMO
MTP OCDHLIBMPAEMO

We want it to relate to music and the composition sounds like fear or hatred of having to take music lessons.
Take out Melophobia and we have left: T C D M M P (or T C A M M P) which don't anagram for me.

But why the specific order of popups? Doesn't ROT. And anagram gets us that nifty music link. I've tried melophobia.com and melophobia.htm at The Unraveling. What's the missing link?

/me heads of to work, leaving this puzzle in more capable hands.

12 seems more like an arial fireworks show... (which, when they explode, they "bloom") ... If it were a flower, how would the black background be explained? This past forth of July, my wife took many, many pictures of the fireworks at the show we went to. The image looks more like those she took than any flower.
