[EMAIL] to DreadHouse Webmaster 7/24

I emailed the webmaster today.

"Hello,

I came across your site after looking into the Urban Hunt reality game show by Tomorrow's Talk. It looked interesting at first but after doing a little digging, well, I ended up on your doorstep.

I'm just looking to find out what happened at CMH. I'm affiliated with a group of investigators who are all interested into getting to the bottom of this.

We are in no way associated with the production company behind the show other than some of us trying to get onto the new show, (at first for the prizes, now knowing what we know so far to figure out what's going on.)

If you could be so kind as to illuminate the past for us, we would be grateful.

Thank you,
asmyth"

Now all that's left is the waiting.

I emailed as well, but took a different approach...

"Dear sir,

My name is Cory Palmer. A couple of years ago, my cousin John told my family and I that he was going to be going away for a while. He said he didn't know how long, but not to try to contact him. Obviously, this concerned me quite a bit. Upon further prodding, I got him to reveal that he was going to Minnesota for an "event" and he would probably stay there after it. John was a dear friend of mine and it bothered me that he refused to tell me anything more. John left, and we never heard from him again. My family and I assumed that he had moved on and forgotten about us. However, I recently stumbled upon your site. This is deeply troubling information. You said on the Cover-up section that people could email you for more information. Please tell me. I fear the worst.

Thank you,
Cory"

My Email

I sent one too

Dear Sir,
I work at a local television station which is currently working on a special about the reality show craze. I heard the Dread House story from my son. I learned of your site from a web search. We would like to include a section about the Dread House cover-up on the show and would greatly appreciate any information you could send us about it. Any information you send to us will be completely anonymous.
Thank You,
Dan Smith

JC doesn't seem like someone that trusts people very much.

Do you think lying is a good idea? JC will probably expect you to broadcast this information, or at least provide more information about your TV station before giving you information.

When you can't.....

I say just -ask- him for mroe information, rather than trying to make it seem as if you're someone you're not.

/end rant

To Whom It May Concern,

I hate adressing letters that way, but I can clearly see you have your reasons.

I'd like to thank you for tackling such an elusive (not to mention potentially dangerous)as the "Myth" of Dread House.I had heard rumours of the "Dread House" show back in '02...Perhaps even before that, during the publicty drive for FOX's "Murder in Small Town X" program, but never before has anything as concrete as your investigation been availible. Even finding the production company's name proved extremely difficult (as I'm sure you know).

As for my reasons for contacting you, they're threefold. First, I'd like to offer whatever help and support I can. I work as a freelance journalist in my area, and the story behind the legend of Dread House needs to be told, and by more than one person. I would be more than happy to work with you towards this end - in part due the injustice that has passed, but admittedly in part to the story it would make as well. That leads to the second: I would love any information about the Dread House you would care to share, as well as theories or general information about Tomorrow's Talk or the CMH in general. I know this a lot to ask from someone you've never met, and I know that apart my word I can't offer anything to assure you that I'm not affliated with TT or the cover-up, but perhaps that would be enough. From what fragments you could share on the website, it appears that they would take a much more direct approach than this. If you fail to find this to be enough to trust me with this, perhaps you could establish some way for me to "earn" said trust?

Lastly, I wanted to tell that TT is currently in pre-production of a new "show", Urban Hunt. While the premise (contestants attempting to enlist strangers across the country to help them with stunts)seems a bit tame, your information about Dread House makes it seem far more ominous to me. Just thought you'd like to know.

Looking forward to your reply and continued safety,
XXXX
