Okay, what we need is someone who is good with directions...lol

I see the direction "move up and to the right".

If you look at the second instance of "i will" and then look at the next paragraph which begins "not belabor the obvious", you can take that next paragraph, move it up and to the right and it makes sense as "i will not belabor the obvious..."

The "direction" quoted above is a similar move. Look at the line that says "hinges on every move" , the next paragraph starts "up and to the right and the lock has to be broken...". Move the second part up and to the right and you get the phrase "move up and to the right".

This part:

....is again sort of reading up and to the right. And the text that comes immediately after that is "there it is again" possibly telling us that the "what" list is a second hint at up and to the right.

The part that says:

look behind you now

i'm not kidding

if you didn't see it you weren't looking closely enough

look again

...which follows immediately after the list of things/cities, leads me to believe there's something important contained in the text prior to it.

Again...possible directions...two left, one down.

The single line "tow in" could mean town if you move the last letter two left and then move the i down. I know it's a stretch, and I'm probably working it backwards (if at all...lol). But to have a line simply say "tow in" seems off to me.

The journal entry mentions the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end alot....more directions?

I find the use of "spots it" an odd choice (But that's JMO). I think the passage is telling us we need to spot something, and it's like not seeing the forest for the trees.

I'm still unsure of who is talking in this entry. It seems like it's not the Rev to me.

Oh one last thought......a lot of the stuff in the list (where the city names are) had me thinking about The Human Genome Project, done at the National Institute of Health (and Energy...I think).

a place of learning (university...or once was)
scribe (transcriber of the data)
a time of times past, the record of us all (DNA)
near the spaces of the lines to read between (sequencing)
under the stairs in the cracks of the soul (the double helix sort of resembles a spiral staircase...lol)
