Maybe we should be clicking on as many ad banners as we can on in-game sites.

...except that advertisers no longer use click-through rates as a valid measurement for revenues derived from advertising since it's so easy to jack the system that way. Using "eyeballs" as a metrics device is pretty much dead on the internet since most advertisers now assume a click-thru rate of less than 2% on any given banner ad and adjust their commission rates accordingly. Plus there are still something like less than 15% of American TV-watching households actively using the Internet, and an even smaller subset of that using the net for commercial purposes (which is what the advertisers would be most interested in.)

My sense is that our friends at "Toyota of Push" and "Sprint of Push", spiffy PoMo websites notwithstanding, are still a hell of a lot more interested in weekly Nielsen ratings for the show (as an indicator of how many MILLIONS of households are watching their TV ads) than they are in click-thrus or even completed order transaction ratios on their websites (as an extrapolation of how many HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of active participants may be visiting the web portion of the show).
