[SPEC] Honey, the ancient Egyptians, and the Queen.

On the honey page of ilovebees.com, notice the paragraph where it says that honey has healing properties, and that germs cannot grow in honey.
Now, if I remember correctly, it said that honey was the key to our survival in that prophesy thing (not exact words). Also, notice how it says that ancient Egyptians used honey, because it cannot contain germs. Wasn't there something about the forerunners leaving us bread crumbs to the queens downfall? Maybe the ancient Egyptians were either A) the forerunners themselves or B) associated w/ the forerunners. Any thoughts?

I read in a book that the Egyptians also used to soak dead serfs in honey and feed bits of them to people as medicine. Indigestion? Have some honeyed skin. Constipation? Have some honeyed skin. Mental illness? Have some honeyed skin.

Its too bad we don't do *that* anymore.

Hey, it's better than leeches.

Hey... The best of both worlds of ancient medicine... Combined!

Have some honeyed leeches!

I'd say it makes sense. it certainly fits in with the theory in some slightly more eccentric circles that the Egyptians were visited and helped/enslaved by an alien intelligence... Stargate anyone?

So... Yeah. Unless I find myself fighting the Goa'Uld in the next Halo game, then I'm going to write this off as wild spec.
