I'm not seeing any pictures. And www.dreadhouse.com/help.html doesn't get me anything (http://www.dreadhouse.com/dhsite2/help.html doesn't work either).

We had some pic troubles - dmax is re-uploading.
As for help.html - it was there, and now it's gone...

Just for the record...could someone post the complete URL that was found? Kona mentioned www.dreadhouse.com/help.html. Is that the address you found? And please don't tell me to check the wiki....I would like this stuff posted on the board please.
Yay Rowan! Thanks
And thanks to all the people on IRC who worked so hard on this.

That was it, dashcat. It's gone now.
Also, the wiki is there for keeping important reference info, puzzles, and the guide. You're right that something like the url should be kept to the boards, but do remember to check the wiki for other info.

Wow, awesome...I just checked in after a big fireworks celebration (annual thing here in Vancouver) and there's been a megaton of progress.
Ace catch on help.html. Anyone tried running the pics/vid through the wringer? I checked the pics with stegdetect but it was my first time using the program so the chances i missed something are high.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you look at the .wmv in a text editor, you can see some of the video's meta-data. Looks like "S. Rowan" is a TT engineer that worked on this video. Only Rowan I can find so far is our very own rowan72.... anything you want to tell us, rowan?
Here's the text pasted:

Whoa... looks like P4 was taken with a Sony Cybershot at 2004:07:28 19:50:49, about 9 minutes before the content went live. He must have it hard copy and snapped the shot to post it.

Thanks Rob. I always check the wiki but once upon a time the boards were the trail. I just don't like having to leave a thread on UF to check the wiki because all the IRC people have posted incomplete urls or solves without back up. Not everyone plays these games in IRC. They come to the boards to read what people are specing and thinking and what they have found. There is nothing so frustrating as reading about the excitement of hunting for the solve of a clue and then the complete solve isn't posted. Instead people are told to read the wiki. Well....why bother with UF if I can read the wiki? The wiki is facts...the board is emotion and triumph and frustration...as far as I'm concerned that's what ARGs are about, the sharing of the experience. It's better than TV, better than a great book. Not everyone goes to IRC so please keep those people in mind when you post here, give them the complete story, share your experience with them, with me, with us.

The .wmv file seems to be from when TT was looking for a location.
It states in the meta data:
"Location #4: Cambridge Mental Hospital
Cambridge, Minnesota"

Are the numbers at the end of the filenames an effect of the forum upload, or part of the original file? If the original filenames all had 3 digit suffixes, then that's definitely another code.

Primitive: The original filenames are the ones in the post. The forum tags them with different names to avoid multiples with the same name.

Questions I get from the pictures are..
- Who is D.H? (Suppose it could stand for Dread House, but seems more like initials, and Dr. House seems unlikely)
- Who is referenced in the newspaper article? - Could be completely irrelevant, but I've been trying to work out who said the quote about Napoleon. The name is cut off at the top, looks something like 'moromew' .. could be nothing. Nothing that I can think of that matches the form comes up with anything in Google.
- Should we try and contact the TT people in the memo? (Greg Boyle, Richard Meyer, also S Rowan from the video?) Quite easy to work out their probable email addresses - first letter of first name followed by surname seems to be the Tommorow's Talk format.
Just a few things I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about. (I can't get on the IRC channel at work, so no idea what discussion is going on )

The JS in the memo has to be Joseph Silver, VP of productions.
