[SPEC?] Spreading of the infection

First post here (or for any ARG), so please be gentle Smile

What we do know is that the infection started (as far as we know) on the server/servers hosting ILB.com. We know about that infection because of the obvious text. Now, when Dana noticed this, she went in to try to repair the damage (making her the killer, possibly). At some point later, the infection spread to Dana's computer (as evidenced by the webcam images). So, we do know that the infection has gotten smart enough to detect the repairs, determine where the problem is coming from and be able to connect back and infect a new computer

There was a thread talking about new SPDR text (from tertiary to secondary). Is there any other new SPDR text? Perhaps we see some text relating to connecting to Dana's machine. That may give US access to her machine? Or maybe there's something important on those hosting machines that we don't know about yet? We need to access files on the machines? (that part may be dangerous....along the lines of hacking Hotmail, perhaps)

Just tossing out wild speculation. But then again, isn't that why a lot of us are here?

For the complete Spider text that we have so far, check out the wiki.

Feel free to look for more or interperet anything however you feel fits in Smile

This Thread discusses that. Basically, we have been asked multiple times not to hack hotmail.

Let me clarify (as it apparently has been misinterpreted. I am NOT saying hack Hotmail. I know it's wrong and I know it's not what to do. We also should not try to hack gmail and try to get into Dana's account (thought it would have been another idea). What I'm saying is that maybe there is something in terms of files or structure or something on either Dana's computer or the computers hosting ILB.com. Those are the only infected computer (as far as we know), so those would be places to start looking.
