The telephone number in the whois info of ilovebees.com is a Pacific Bell's owned line , so it might be that the Pacbell-IP belongs to a DSL-connection from the same place as the telephone line, but just... maybe.
EDIT - URL length - SG

Speaking of being watched... Has anyone noticed that when you go to www.ihatebees.com, (which is now finished) it comes up with the same black box as the original site, but a few letters are in bold type. They spell:
G o d I S w a t c h i n g
Anything important? I don't know, but go see for yourself.

Oh, and by the way, xbox.ilovebees.com is the same site as ilovebees.com

The earliest reference is here:

Things move fast here, with hundreds of eyes watching all the sites, and we try to discourage multiple posts of the same information. So please use the [Search] function. (I know it takes some experimenting to get useful results, but it does work.)
And we try to post the information in a relevant thread so that other readers know exactly what is covered in each thread and aren't missing random posts all over the place. Admittedly that is not entirely under control for this game in the General part of the forums, but that's our goal.
Although harder to search, the news that anything.ilovebees.com will get you to their site has been on this site for at least a week (including a few early excited posts about xbox.ilovebees.com)

That would be very... Illegal
It would also scare the freaking crap out of me. I already get a chill every time I visit the "About Us" page. People as neurotic and paranoid as I should not play games like this in the first place.

Some more interesting info..
Can anyone confirm the name Humanoid from this board/know them? never seen them talk, and take a look
Humanoid is ~humanoid@2c464aa6.35556308.snfc21.pacbell.net * Humanoid
Humanoid on #beehunters #ilovebees #beekeepers
Humanoid using nemesis.nv.us.hub.chat-solutions.org The Enemy At The Gates
humanoid End of /WHOIS list.
It's masked, yes, but--- who knows?
They are not using the same IP as the one posted at the top of the thread. And can't anyone just play the game for the fun of it without trying to "out" the PMs?

EDIT: As he said above.

I can confirm, lots of hits to my avatar from that IP on the 24th through 27th. Nothing after 19:30 PST on the 27th from anything in that /16 though.

Well it's obvious that the PMs are watching us. They have to track our progress and make sure we don't solve their puzzles to quickly. We certainly show them by putting the text together so quickly.

While I don't know a lot about IRC addressing, what I see there is only enough to say that Humanoid lives in the same town as someone running the game.
Judging from the field reports from people who tried to go to the street address for 'ilovebees', I think that might actually cover several more people here.

[question] combining two threads in another thread someone suggested trying to communicate with the AI that is embedding test in the killer pics by encoding our own info in some pictures and sending the like to aunt M's hotmail. i know people keep saying that this whole thread is out of game but to me that is a great idea. I will keep lurking and contribute when i can, the problem is that when i think of something good you people have already beaten me to it.
thanks,
rem
