[QUESTION / SPEC] Captured AI & Sleeping Princess

I'm new at this, and I did a quick search on a few of these subjects and found nothing, so forgive me if I'm rehashing anything, but I have a theory:

Could the Operator be a captured AI on a disabled human ship (ONI perhaps)? There is a reference to losing her memories due to different possibilities, one of which is a sheer physical impact. This could mean that the Sleeping Princess is Earth, or rather the coordinates to it (due to failure to follow the Cole Protocol). Perhaps the Spider/Widow is a covenant construct probing the AI to find the Sleeping Princess, meanwhile purging all the Operator's memories. That would explain the random memories and then the memory test being wiped out. I'm not sure how this all ties together, though, because maybe the Widow and the Sleeping Princess are all on the same side, so my point would be wrong. But anyways, just my initial thoughts after reading many posts/websites about all this.

Im new at this too. So far Ive read through all the texts a couple times and as far as I can tell the Spider(SPDR or Widow) took over Dana's website to repair the Queen(aka the Operator and the one telling the story about being on the beach and such) SPDR put up the warning on the site because the info on it is for some reason classified. When SPDR repaired the Queen enough to where she could move(Phase 1, network throttle eroding) she took control of Dana's web cam. All the while the Princess(the entity in the Emails and speaking in the hidden text in Killer.jpg) is held captive by the Queen or the Spider. The Princess is trying to escape, and I think she wants to help Dana. The flea is a servant of the Princess who watches what is happening and reports back to her. As far as to what all this actually means Im at a loss Confused. So if somebody could correct me or enlighten me that would be great.

nukinfutz,

I think yours is my favorite spec so far. In the event of a "shipwreck", especially one that bad, the Operator is supposed to destroy whatever program is responsible for the Earth's coordinates (or navigating to Earth), right? I can absolutely see how this program is the Princess: that's why she is so precious; that's why she is so tightly sealed away (in a container -> in a casket (btw, the glass coffin vs. a bug trapped in amber - very cute Smile ) -> in a chamber -> in a dungeon); that's why she sleeps (that's literally her job - to sleep, at all times, except when she needs to be used for getting back to Earth); that's why she's in danger from the Queen now - she should have already been destroyed. To me, all of that makes a lot more sense than her being a copy of the Queen (atm, at least) - that's also why she's sort of "embedded" into the Operator, which, I'm not sure that a copy would be).

Now, the Flea, I think, is the innocent bystander - some small, insignificant program, that is completely unrelated to either the Queen or the Princess, that managed to hide itself - when everything around was crashing - within the Operator (or, to be more precise, in the chamber of the dungeon of the castle - but that's technicalities), and, incidentally, right next to the Princess. Since it is so trivial, the Widow overlooked it when it was scanning the damage (as opposed to the Princess, whom she noticed, and "okayed" for being there provided she's "not breathing" - like she is usually supposed to).

Now, I really do think that the Princess is still sleeping (and it seems logical, since the Operator is probably the only one who can wake her up), and it is the Flea who dreamed the Widow's Journey, and hijacked ladybee777's hotmail. It's telling us the truth - it's an innocent bystander, who is not supposed to be there (which also explains why he feels relatively safe - nobody would bother to look for him, or even notice him in Princess' chamber). It says it's an "instigator", but a tiny unimportant one (not sure what kind of program could be described that way, but there are probably quite a few). It seems to not like bees (or the Queen), and if the Princess is truly unrelated to the Queen (or - not a bee), that also explains why he doesn't *not* like the Princess. So, if it's the Flea, and not the Princess talking (either herself, or through the Flea, as has been recently suggested), the line about Parents ("I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them") also makes sense (if it was the Princess/Queen's heir/copy, then she would have had only one parent - the Queen; and if the Princess is the Earth's coordinates, then she can't be awake and talking).

Btw, within this context, killer13 totally makes sense too (which I haven't been able to get it to do before). It's asked if it's scared, and it says:

Quote:
So many people are "Help me, I am on fire" going to explode weeping and gnashing of teeth conspiracy

So many people would freak out and break down
Quote:
Whatever
I am fine, have the necessary tools to hide hard in the darkness, to
meddle in the affairs of dragons and run like hell

I'm ok, I can hide, I can let the Queens and Princesses and other royalty sort out their own affairs... I just want to get out of here
Quote:
This entity generally gives good results

Don't think you can't talk to me because I'm just a Flea. Or: don't think that just because I'm a Flea, I can't find a way to save myself.

Finally, it makes sense why English is strange. If it was the Princess = Queen's copy, English should be no stranger to it than to the Queen. If it was the Princess = Earth's coordinates, then I'm not sure she's supposed to talk at all; but, in any case, as I mentioned before, I think she should be sleeping still. The Flea is not used to talking in English, as it is just a small, rather irrelevant program... that's why it's responding the way it does.
