 		[INFO] 6-digit phone numbers?
Hi all. I'm curious about the six-digit numbers scattered throughout sen5241.net that we're told to "call." Anyone think they're actual phone numbers, or at least parts of phone numbers?

Here are the ones I've found:

http://sen5241.net/subinfo.html
has the Subcity Central office phone number, 581-814. It says to "call for assistance," which seems pretty blatant to me.

http://sen5241.net/percom.html
all list another number to call for assistance, 573-239.

And there are a couple more that are somewhat hidden:

The OMM interview page, which we've already seen...but notice that its title is a six-digit number, 211345. Another phone number?

Finally, if you go to a nonexistent page (e.g. http://sen5241.net/asdf), it tells you that you don't have "authority" to access the page. However, if you go to an existing directory (e.g. http://www.sen5241.net/audio/), it has a different page. It says THIS AREA IS NOT AVAILABLE, but more importantly, the title of the page is another six-digit number, 563884.


So, between the phone-number-like formatting, and the instructions to "call for assistance," I'm guessing these are phone numbers, or something similar. Except of course that they're only six digits. Do we add a 0 at the end? at the beginning? Are they the area code and three-digit prefix, and the last four digits come from people's IDs? (e.g. SEN5241, LUH3417, etc.) Anyone up for brute forcing them manually? Kidding, kidding...kinda.

 		[INFO] tried calling a few phone number combinations
So, curiosity got the better of me. I appended 5241 to each of the six digit phone numbers and tried calling them:

The first three weren't working phone numbers, and the last one:

was a fax machine. Or maybe a modem...I don't know if there's a difference, to the untrained ear. :P

I'll try faxing something tomorrow, maybe my email or phone number, and see if anything happens. (Yes, that's a little scary...but hey, that's what makes ARGs so fun!)

Regardless, there are lots of other ways to make these into phone numbers. Any ideas?

 		I googled the phone # you found. Its's the fax line for Fred H. Barge, DC, PHC a member of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations.

Not quite in game. I would think.
