First off, I hope I'm posting this in the right forum...

now down to business...

the entity writes in some of the texts embedded in the html

I may and probably will be trouted for the assumption but it seems to me that this (along with the given information that the entity is trying to get out of Dana's specific machine) supports the speculation that possibly the process has already begun and spider is slowly making its way out of the machine and into either the home network or into the wiring of Aunt M's home...

It may seem unlikely but if we assume that within the context of the game world. The entity is stuck on a home server, that would require a broadband connection. Is it not possible then that it has begun to reach out into the cable system etc. Given that as far as I'm aware there isn't a whole lot of fiber optics actually inside a modern pc...

Not sure how this affects anything, but couldnt this be why Dana was so scared? (since the given concensus is that as long as somethings trapped inside the pc, what harm can it do?)

 		Pure speculation threads generally have no place in the puzzles section. Next time, do the search, scour the Wiki, and then, if what you've got it still new, and fresh and sweet-smelling, go ahead and either continue on-topic discussion in an existing thread, or possibly start a new one - in the General/Updates area.
