 		Hmmmm. Checking the headers, I get:

ice.hdllc.net gives me a box with 216.22.0.22 at the top, and the standard fill in username and password box. 'cpanel', whatever that is. And since I can't guess the id/pass yet, I clicked cancel, and it redirects to http://216.22.0.22:2082/ with the same thing except this time in a webframe.

Significant?

New here. But am completely obsessed with the idea of an ARG -- especially after reading Gibson's Pattern Recognition.

However, since this one's a bit fresh, I thought I'd interject the following links regarding this message in the email:

After some googling:

The Five Shu Points

... which led me to a site with more specific information about the various spleen channels (for acupressure/puncture) used as sedatives ...

The Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin

They're all labeled SPX. SP9 is called Yinlingquan and SP5 is called Shangqiu.

Didn't dig too much further, since it seems a little bit off...just speculation.

Nah, probably not. http://hdllc.net/ is the front page for Hosting Direct, a web hosting provider. Looks like this is what the PMs are using to host the game sites.

Note that statewellness.net and subcitycentral.net both resolve to the IP address 216.22.0.22, which reverse DNS resolves to the hostname ice.hdllc.net.

Strangely, sen5241.net resolves to the IP address 64.202.163.189, which reverse DNS resolves to the hostname linhost111.mesa1.secureserver.net. http://rnw.secureserver.net/ is the front page for another domain name registrar and web hosting provider, Wild West Domains. I wonder why the PMs are using two separate providers...?

Most interestingly...

If you go to http://linhost111.mesa1.secureserver.net/ , it says Directory Size: 8631.

I'm guessing this isn't in-game, but it is a four-digit number, which seems a little suspicious. Anyone have any reason to believe this might be in-game?



P.S. If this kind of research isn't considered appropriate for ARGs, feel free to yell at me. :P

 		Did anyone else get a TO header that hasn't been mentioned yet? So far we have a lot of GRP-12F, one range of groups, and a lot of people who don't have any group designation at all.
