 		[SPEC] Dana, flood, Cortana . . .
Here is my thought . . .

I've been reading most of the Haunted Apiary boards and I've reason to believe nobody has thought of this before, though posters have helped me to come to some conclusions.

At one point somebody posted the idea that Cortana may have lost it because of ALL the information she may have absorbed from the Halo computer when she found out about the Flood.

We know from the phone message that Dana has found out something bad and she's runnning away (maybe).

We know that the original Halo was a containment apparatus of some sort, the "apiary".

This is what I'm piecing together: What if Earth is an Apiary? What if Dana is actually patient zero (Flood)? What if Cortana knows this, but she's lost it because of whole Johnny Mnemonic episode she's having, she's only focusing on Dana and trying to "fix" the situation? What if Dana knows this as well? Would you tell anybody that you may be the be all end all of the whole human population?

And Cortana changed her name to melissia, got flung through time, and fragmented on her server?

Thats... out on a limb. Maby even a twig.

Seriously, all this comparison to things in Halo is probably throwing us off. This doesn't exactly have to be about Halo, and its dangerious to assume. Halo isn't the only universe with AI's ya'know.
